Hm Ive spoken with many people like him, who would all agree, theyve tried "everything". Based on his posts "thanks for the help, Ill continue doing what Im doing, and hopefully things will change" etc... hes not willing enough. Also, to elaborate, I beleive 2000-2500 is a very small caloric portion of someone wearing a XXL. Your caloric intake is based on your current body-weight, So Id estimated about 3000-3500, this is to ensure his body is getting enough "energy" and its being fueled to actually burn off weight, and not to conserve and hold fat reserves. In regards to that, he should be eating at least 6-7 SMALL meals a day, aka: chicken breast, and a small cup of rice, this is to guarantee that he is providing his body with ample nutrients, protein, and carbs to get throughout the day. The last thing he wants is to slow his metabolism down, and constantly eating enough (not to "fill you up, but enough to cut cravings) will help keep his metabolism burning, and the protein in conjunction with carbs might help him to turn a lot of that fat into muscle. And common knowledge says, that the more muscle you have sculpted onto your frame, the easier it is to turn even more fat into muscle, or just burn fat all together. Muscles work as a reactor, and when torn, it pulls other nutrients , as well as fat and amino acids into it, causing it to grow and expand. I dont think the whole.. lawnmower routine will do it for you.. because the idea is kind of lame, and at the same time, your muscles have a "muscle memory", and if you beleive doing push-ups, and lawn-ups is going to do anything for you, your muscles quickly adapt to the weight your doing, and after it becomes no-hassle, it does nothing. Try upping it to a John-deer now? In reference to your 30 minutes on a tread-mill, up it to increments of 2 minutes, 10times. Run for 2 minutes straight, top speed, than walk a minute, and so forth, 10 times. This is sure to help your endurance, make your legs stronger, you wont lose muscle through the ordeal, and it will help to cut fat much quicker than running to exhaustion.
