Serious arm problem

Well I play baseball and am 14 my arm feels fine and everything while I am working out but every time I throw a ball my arm will hurt like hell. I have gone to physical therapy for my elbow and I had some injuries including a hyper extended elbow and a strained elbow. I want to know why this keeps happening. It hurts in my elbow sometimes and in my shoulders sometimes.

Thanks

hey im 16 and ive been playing baseball for 11 years, so i know a little about it. there could be numerous different reasons, bad throwing fundamentals, not enough rest, over training. maybe take a week off from any workouts then resume. sometimes all your body needs is a little rest.

You probably need a good month off w/o using your arm for lifting or throwing. Let things heal, after that 4 weeks SLOWLY get back into doing your throwing/lifting routine. Don't go out and throw 35+ pitches, or bench 80%+. Take it slow, ice your arm after every practice/game. If it still hurts go to a doctor and get an MRI. Let me tell you that time off is worth avoiding getting cut open.

There's no quick fix for an injury, sorry. Be what I was in HS, a designated hitter. All you gotta do is be strong, and hit bombs, it's a breeze :D

Seriously though, you're only 14. Let your arm heal, and come back. You'll be better than ever, and better to heal now then have an injury worsen to where you can't even lift weights anymore AT ALL! You've got a couple years before college scouts will be out, so make yourself good now for later.
