Seb's New Year Journal

I'd love to pay good money for a machine that is scientifically proven to burn away 1100 kcal in an hour!
But maybe it does mean calories and not kilocalories.....which is a world of difference.

My crosstrainer keeps telling me that I burn 300 kcal in an hour.
According to many tables about fat burning in certain activities this is accurate.....for someone of 60 kg doing somewhat faster than moderate biking. I'm 65 so I burn a bit more.
What you, Sebani, haven't mentioned yet is the speed at which you do it.
Now we can also have doubts on speed measuring... For instance my crosstrainer doesn't say if what it measures, it just spews numbers. But what we do know about speed measuring for sure is when you reach high heart rates you are burning quite some calories and at high heart rates breathing gets heavier.

So what's an estimate of your speed?

Yesterday was a light workout, today I had a PT session
