scuba weighter belt?

Would a scuba diving weight belt be the same or work the same way as a weighted belt? It would make me weigh more thus making me work harder right? Is this safe to do and use?

i would imagine so, it sounds just like the normal weighted belt... i read in another forum that you play football, i'm a little curious, highschool? position? is that why your exercising?

Yes. I use a "diving belt" for my pullups and dips. I can do 45 non-weighted pull-ups. But, amazingly enough, when I add a 30 lb. diving belt, I can only do a dozen or so pull-ups. It helps tremendously.

Usual diving belts can be adjusted in 2.5 lb or 5 lb increments. And they normally can be adjusted upto 30 or 40 lbs.

I am skinnier than you bro! That helps!

Plus... I cheat. I am a rock climber... Pull-ups are my lifeblood.

Yes i play football. Running back is my position. Its my love. I love to juke and burn people. Im just not quite big enough to be noticed as much as i want to be. Sometimes i wish i were black. haha jp.

lol, all racism aside it seems that the majority of black males are faster and strong than the majority of white males.. kinda weird, we're all human, but they're bigger lol

i play football for a small college in florida, im also a running back (currently red shirted). if you're looking to improve leg strength (seems like thats what you want from the weight belt), you should invest in a running chute! it helped me a lot..

and Rip, i dunno if i consider that cheating!! more like really hardd work! lol, anyways 40 pull ups.. ur tha man! lol
