Scrappy's Back!

Thanks for the encouragement guys!
I lost 3 pounds! YES! That is mostly from just watching what goes in my mouth because it has been difficult to get the exercise done!
Yesterday was a tough day. I didn't get home from work until after 3 and I didn't pack a lunch for me or the boys (didn't plan on being there that late), so we were eating whatever we could find (granola bars, goldfish, animal crackers). Nothing too too bad, but an overabundance of carbs!
I know that I really need to grab some fruits or veggies or cheese that I can keep in my classroom.

****doing a happy jigg 3 pounds left behind woooooooohooooooooooooo go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, guys! When did life get so crazy?!! I've been hunkered down getting ready for Thanksgiving. I'll have house guests... 3 adults and 3 children, so I've been cleaning (counts as a workout, right?) and getting ready. Plus, the boys (2 of them, anyway) have feasts at school. I've offered to do a snack/project with my other son's class tomorrow. I have to bring snacks for the teachers at both schools tomorrow. Plus the boys and I made little turkey gift bags for their teachers. (I'll fill the bags with lowfat banana muffins.) BUSY!
I'm still having a real hard time getting in the exercise. I went to the grocery today and bought a bag of lemons. I'm hoping that a slice of lemon will encourage me to drink up that water!
I'm off to catch up on my diet buddies!
(Monikuddle- gotta love a good carb now and then! LOL)

Hi girl! You know i found your christmas card from last year when I was digging through boxes.

How was your thanksgiving??

Well,
Looks like I enjoyed the holiday a little too much! Let's just say, Thanksgiving was a three pound holiday! LOL. But I'm just back where I started. It just took a little bit of effort to put those pounds back on; it shouldn't take too much effort to lose them again.
My brother and his wife and their three girls and my dad came for Thanksgiving. We had a great time. (We just ate too much, that's all...)
One day we celebrated the kids' birthdays by going bowling and out for pizza.(Since my brother and I live several states apart we did one big, special Cousins' Birthday at one time rather than sending presents through the mail or trying to get together for the actual birthdays.) We drove through a fantabulous Christmas lights display and exchanged Christmas presents a different night. Really fun.

sounds like you've had a great couple of days. I'm happy for you.

You'll loose that weight in no time, believe me!

Does this mean I don't have to send you one this year? ;)
I'm so impressed that you have your Christmas stuff out and your digging through it. Dh took the stuff out of the garage last night and we'll probably be decorating this weekend. Seems a bit early, but early is better than late!

I didn't realize Angela was moving on. I went looking for her diary and didn't see where she is leaving. What happened? And I never got around to asking to see her wedding pictures. :(
