I started changing my eating habits and stopped eating what I wanted when I wanted 9 days ago.

I started at 355 lbs and after weighing in this morning I am down to 344. I am sure this is mostly water weight since you lose this first. My goal weight is 180 lbs.

I am eating sensible foods and drinking a lot of water. I have dropped regular sodas totally and only drink maybe 1 diet coke a day so far. Some days I do not drink any. I am drinking 3 - 1liter bottles of water a day and it is really not that hard to do. I thought it would be alot harder to get it down.

I am following the SB diet, so in the beginning of my life change I have cut out breads, pasta etc. This has not been that difficult so far.

I love seafood and protiens and since SB is based largely based on that so far so good.

My exercise so far has been walking on our treadmill 30 minutes a day at least once a day. My goal is to do it 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening but with 2 young childeren it is tough but so far the time is allowing me at least once a day.

Anyways this is my first post of many in the future. I will add a before picture soon and my starting measurements soon. I really love this forum so far. The support is incredible.

Yesterday was a good day.

Breakfast - 2 slices jenni -o fat free turkey breast, 1 low fat skim motz cheese stick and 8 oz of skim milk

Lunch - Salad with romaine, canned tuna,2- boiled egg, low fat shredded cheddar cheese, celery, onion and fat free kraft italian dressing

Dinner - Baked salmon filet and tilapia filet (7oz total), 2 cups stir fry blend veggies and 8oz of skim milk

I did drink 2- 1 liter bottles of Sam's Choice flavored sparkling water (I love the stuff), typically drink 3 per day.

Snacks during the day - Sugar free jello cups (2), fat free motz stick (1)

I typically weigh myself every morning and this morning I am down another 4 pounds, so I am down to 340 lbs with 15 pounds lost.

I wish you luck, very good about the current weight loss. I should have my scales arrive tomorrow so I can record accurate readings.

Keep it up! :)

I went out to walmart and bought the biggest loser version scale. Goes up to 350 pounds and shows the ounces also. I love it and it seems it is very accurate. My wife joined weight watchers last week and after she weighed in there, she came home and weighed on our scale and it was accurate to the ounce.

The scale was $28 with tax a bit over $30.
The biggest loser scale does Imperial and metric.

yeah that was late in the summer 2007 at Navarre Beach Florida on vacation.
Thanks for the compliment!

Well done on your weight loss so far, I am very impressed!!
I wish you all the luck in the world!

Wow! Great weight loss so far! I really like that show the biggest loser. Great motivation! I will check in on this thread! =)

Yesterday was a good day eventhough my Colts and Cowboys lost in the playoff's.

Breakfast - 3 hard boiled eggs, 3 slices of candian bacon, and a low fat motz cheese stick.

Lunch - Romain salad with egg, 4 celery sticks, shredded carrots, tear drop tomatoes and fat free Italian dressing. To compliment the salad I had 2-3oz lean ground turkey patties, spiced up.

Dinner - 8 oz roasted pork tenderloin, roasted veggies - brocolli, cauliflower, red and green pepper strips and onion. (yummy)

Snacks - 3- sugar free jello cups, celery stick with 1 tbls of peanut butter on it.

Beverages - 2 - 8oz cups of milk, 2 - 1 liter bottles of smas choice sparkling flavored waters (key lime and white grape are my favs), 1 liter of tap water.

Exercise - 20 minutes on the tread mill

Misc - Joined the 75 pound challenge in 2008.

At weigh in this morning, I was down another 2 pounds.
17 down and 158 to go.

That weight is just falling off! Exciting :)

Yes, my H was heartbroken about the Cowboys. I felt sorry for him, he looked so down for a second there having thought they were going to the Superbowl 4 sho. His dad died when he was young and they were his dad's favorite team, so the CB mean a lot to him. Meanwhile I could care less ha ha.

Yeah I live in Indy and before we got the Colts in 1984, I was a cowboys fan. I understand and share his pain.

Yesterday was a pretty good day.

Breakfast - Had a dentist appointment and I was not supposed to eat anything before my appointment at 8AM.

Lunch - Salad with Fat free Rasp. Vinagrette, 8 oz of baked chix breast, water to drink

Dinner - Salmon Filet, Celery Stick with a tbl spn of peanut butter on it and 2 boiled eggs. I know a strange dinner but the salmon was left over from a couple of nights ago and I had a craving for the celery and eggs. Go Figure. 8oz skim milk to drink with it.

Snacks - 2 sugar free jello cups and a peanut butter cup (ouch my will power broke down)

Beverages - I did not do good on my water intake today. Only 1 - 1 liter bottle besides what I had with my meals. I need to get it up to 3 - 1liter bottles a day I feel.

Exercise - Walking for 30 minutes on the tread mill

I weighed in this morning and I was up .6 of a pound. Today will rock because I am going to start increasing my walking by 5 minutes until I am up to an hour. I know this might take me a bit to where I am at a good pace but I would say by next month at this time I will be walking a full hour a day on the tread mill.

Hi Scott,

Wow you are really motivated and are doing a great job with your foods!:hurray:

Im having one of those days and reading some of these diaries gets me back in the game!

BTW: Im sorry to about the Colts losing, they are my second favorite team! Im in Dallas so the Cowboys are My fav! I was hoping even if we went out I would have the Colts to look forward to!
Oh well, Let's go Packers! LOL

Good luck to you! Keep up the great work!

No biggie on the Colts! Once Football season is over it will give me more time to walk on the treadmill!!

On the motivation of the forums. OMG they are great to start my day reading updates and writing in my diary once I weigh in everyday and go over what i consumed the day before. I love it!

I just got out of our neighbors hot tub. It does wonders for my legs after starting my treadmill routine.

Wow, those meals looks so healthy. No big deal on the peanut butter cup, its great you kept it to just the one.
