Ok I read a few posts and just decided to jump in
because
I need to lose weight
I need to get healthy
I need support
I have several health issues going on, some I can control and some I cannot I went to the doctor Wednesday and asked for something to jump start my weight loss thinking it would be the motivation I needed. She prescribed me 300mg wellbutrin and 500mg 2x daily of metformin. I was already on wellbutrin so the dosage is just increased. I weighed 246 on my scale on Tuesday morning. I will journal that scale reading since I have regular access to it.
I think the hardest part of doing this will be my pepsi habit. I just don't do diet drinks so either they have to go or I have to drastically cut down on it. It is the only vice I have left
I usually am successful losing weight if I eat the foods I usually do and cutting the portions. I seem to get really out of whack if I cut out anything completely. I really do not enjoy cooking anymore which is also problem but I have done it both Wednesday and Thursday evening.
Regular exercise is not in my life now with the exception of physical therapy I am going to for my back problems. My therapist and I are starting now to make a home exercise plan I can do and she will teach me what to add as I progress.
I hope I can keep this going...
I have not set any type of goals so off the top of my head:
starting weight 246
first goal 226
next goal under 200 I will take 199
my ultimate goal would be 170 but I would be thrilled with 180!
