You are going great guns now Scarlett!! And 3.2 pounds in the challenge so far ... top notch ;)

On the subject of skinny celebs like Kiera Knightley, saying they aren't anorexic ..... celebs always say that. And recently it has come out the ginger spice was bulemic, as was posh spice, as was sporty spice .... I do know more celebs other than the spice girls I promise ..... but it comes out of the woodwork in the end. I have probably posted this already, but celebs are striving to be a US 0 (UK size 4), but to have a waist that slim and be healthy, you would have to be, like, 4ft 3in, or something like that :eek: Yet they still strive for it :rolleyes:
 
Almost to 50 pounds!! That is so amazing. You need to figure out a great big reward for yourself. Like maybe you should get a ring in your new size! Woo hoo! Look at me happy dancing for you!!

I think taking the rings off for now may well be a good idea! I had to get one of mine re-sized at Xmas because my mum bought me it thinking I had the same sized fingers as her. Luckily for me my fingers have always been relatively slender shame I can't say the same for the rest of me.:rolleyes:
 
Scarlett. You are doing awesome. You will definatley reach your goal. Tape your rings onto your fingers. LOL. Or put them onto a necklace until you reach your goal. Take care and have a great day.

I like Jodee's sugestion of wearing them on a chain until you get to your goal and what a great reward for when you reach your goal! Way to go. You're almost there!:D
 
Great idea about the rings Jodee and Miss Kallie. May have to look into that. And good to see you all.

I just realized that I haven't been posting my calories. This week has me kind of discombobulated. And next week might not be any different because I have another colleague coming into town. Don't they know I don't have time for them because I'm VERY BUSY trying to lose weight here. Geesh!!!!

Hi Scarlet, thanks for stopping by my diary. I take Levoxyl for the hypothyroidism. Are you taking medication as well? I hate having this condition. Do you always feel cold?
 
It is so wonderful to notice a change in your hands. I'm patiently waiting to lose some more weight not so I can resize my rings but to fit them again. I got an anniversary band for my 1st anniversary in October and I am still waiting to wear it. So hearing your story about your rings becoming lose and sadly that you lost one is very encouraging for me to hear.

But as was mentioned earlier you should go out an get a nice ring in your new finger size. After all you deserve it!

Well, you've got everything going along nicely here. Super job.

I love the loose clothing and rings!!! You really feel like you've done something and really want to keep at it.
 
On one hand, it sucks that you lost a ring, but it must feel good to know that you've lost THAT MUCH!

I bet that last bit of a pound has already come off, you just haven't weighed in to see it yet, so I can't wait to see what your number is next weigh-in!

Oh I have also struggled with the ring thing! I was so excited when my engagement ring again fit me. For so long it did not. However, now I'm scared to lose my wedding ring - it's just too big! Sounds like I should wait, though, to re-size it until I've lost all my weight. Hmmm!
Anyhow, you're doing great! That is a tremendous amount of weight to have lost - great job! I'm sure you'll be at your goal before you know it.

Hey, don't get me wrong, you're worth the 38k, but with the extra 19k I saved I upgraded the interior package on the Aston-Martin you'll be driving. Seemed like the right thing to do ;)
 
You mean the Aston that YOU'LL be driving....after all my job will be to sit there and look purty letting the wind tousle my hair while you drive us along the coast. It will be a convertible right? I've got you in a black tux minus the tie with the shirtails hanging out, hair slicked back and really cool sunglasses.

Let's hope the glare from my rock doesn't distract you while you're driving. Cuz that could end badly.
