I am bloating like a balloon too. I weighed on Saturday and I was down one lbs, if I weigh myself now I will be up five pounds, at least. It is TOM, so don't worry too much. I have decided that from next month on, I am just not gonna go near the scales during the TOM.
Your free day is 31st, I am putting mine on 29th (It is a little difficult to eat well on saturdays for me, coz that's the only day I am taking off this week, and would want to meet friends, go out for brunch etc). Let's do this together, nightrunner. I am dead serious. Let's check in on each other re: sugar intake, calories etc (although your and mine will prolly be different). I am in.
Oh and I read somewhere that you are preparing for grad school. I have also decided that it is time to go back to school next year. Taking GREs in October (yikes!) and then application process begins. God knows how I am going to manage studying for GRE, the apps when I have so many deadlines in the next few months.
Good luck. Will check in on you later.

I have no idea what YMMV means
, I love'em and at the moment am just staying away... I'll need to come up with a strategy soon though!
BUT! they are all done now so you wont be seeing that on here anymore
-but you're right i think that breakfast helped curb my hunger so i guess it worked out okay. Don't throw away your theory-what works for you may not work for me and vice versa. To be honest i dont think i have a "way" of eating. Some mornings i wake up with a bigger appetite than others. But overall i try not to let 6 hours go by without eating anything. And if i find im not hungry and its been 4 hours since ive last eaten something, ill have an apple or something before the hunger pangs hit. Otherwise i feel too hungry to be able to properly control my portion sizes. I had read somewhere that if you have something to eat every 3-4 hrs it keeps your blood sugar level relatively constant which keeps your sugar craving in check. It doesnt have to be an actual meal of course but a piece of fruit or some nuts will do the trick until its time to have your lunch or dinner
