Scared out of my mind

yay nightrunner!!! you are back. how did the exam go?

lets getting running again. i am on week three of c25k but kinda want to jump to week four because i tried week four's last set on sunday and could easily do it. are you doing c25k?

hope all's well. congratulations on being done with undergrad. what next? what happened to grad school plans?

it feels good to be back. haha cg im in no way saying i haven't fallen off the wagon along the way. its just a lot easier to get back on now that im not constantly weighing myself...i hope this works out for me though. i was planning on booking an appointment at the gym where i can have my body fat measured, so even if my weight is the same, at least i know my body fat is decreasing....lol i feel like i need to work up the courage to do that

i was doing really well with my eating and exercising for the months of feb and march but once easter hit, i totally binged on chocolate. it was also the time when all my major assignments were due and i was prepping for finals so i want exercising anymore. i feel that ive gained a bit of weight because one of my workout shirts isnt fitting as loosely as it used to but im trying to get back into my workout routine.

my exam went well last Saturday but i was sooo hooked on caffeine this semester so ive committed to not drinking coffee anymore. since Saturday i haven't had any coffee, so needless to say i haven't exactly been functional all week. id literally sleep for 12 or 13 hrs...get up eat breakfast shower and watch movies check out whats going on online then go back to sleep. it was a pretty miserable week. i didn't do any workouts obviously b/c my head was pounding but thankfully i think the worst is over. i went to a body pump class yesterday and did 20 mins on the bike afterwards. hopefully i can get into another consistent workout routine.i cant wait to get back into running too. i need to get my endurance up!

sooo grad school had to be put on hold because i couldnt figure out what i wanted to do. also i thought i had more time to have things figured out but applications for external awards were due the 3rd week of school. i was still trying to wrap my head around the classes i was taking so i had to forgo any grad plans for next year. i am looking into it now though. i figure it worked out for the best. ill work this year, pay off student loans (hopefully) then start in fall 2011 hopefully. admittedly ive been kind of lax in looking up different programs and i need to get that out of the way before i find a job.

so anyway im thinking my workout yesterday was a good motivator to start eating healthy again. after my workout i came home and had some rice, baked potatoes and peas. and a small salad.

so far today ive had a banana and dry raisin bran. hopefully ill go out for a run at some point today....
 
Looks like your getting back on track - congrats on the last exam! I want to make another appointment at my gym too to get my body fat measured - the results are always so interesting and sometimes a real eye opener!

yesterday was a good day all around...until night time. for breakfast i had skim milk and raisin bran. i had to go back to school to get some references for work and i didnt get home until around 4. I wish i had taken something with me to eat because i was starving when i got home. I had rice and peas with a glass of milk. but i was still hungry abt an hour later so i had pasta and meat sauce....and another glass of milk. i didnt feel too guilty at the time because i was going to a body pump class for 6:30 and they have just come out with a new release thats really intense so i thought i could use the extra carbs. anyway turned out the instructor was away and her replacement lead with an older release. boooo. oh well it was still a good workout. i went on the bike afterwards for about 23 mins then came home annnnd :( my mom had made brownie cheesecake! damn it!!

since i had a good supper i hadnt planned on eating after my workout, maybe a glass of milk and an orange if anything, but def not dessert. that determination didnt last long though. so i ended up eating cheesecake.

sooo...for indulging im planning on making up for it today.hopefully. im going to step class this morning and maybe doing some free weights. im reluctant to do another weight class since i did pump yesterday but i def feel like i need the extra calorie burn. oh well. keep it light. that will be my mantra for the day. it needs to work!
