Howdy Saturday,
So sorry I haven't visited in a while you are one
of the ones I thought I did visit plus today has been hectic!
Congrats on changing things up whatever works.If I quit having cheat
days I would be doing good right now but I have an extra 2 lbs
to lose before I can start getting the ticker to move again.

I like the harsh truth forum too - I think a lot of us have been doing things in a way that can be improved!
 
Everyone at work keeps tellin me that I'd look fine if I stopped here... but the don't realize that I'm still considered Obese :( But I'm almost out of that range and into the "Overweight" range (according to my BMI)... which...for the first time..I'll be proud to proclaim that I'm OVERWEIGHT!

I have a lot further to go than you to get there but I sure understand what you mean by looking forward to being overweight! Glad your little fluctuation has passed. :)
 
Hello everyone! Just enjoying my lunch...watching a movie. Did my cardio this morning and it was downright great! Still having a tad bit of a hard time doing the football "sprints" but...I'd say I faired rather well! Had a really really good salad for lunch too... garlic chicken and turkey bacon topping it... just really really good stuff! I'm back down to 213 even... so hopefully my downward spiral will continue. I need to do some toneing, look up some strength and sculpting vids online... the link that was posted on my harsh truth thread has really opened my eyes... I belive I've hit "Wave #2" Here's to more weight loss!

Wow sprints! thats gotta be some great interval training in there.

Garlic chicken? now thats perked my interest - what is it ?
 
The sprints I'm doing are like what you see in football training vids... run in place tire drills and then doing these run in place sprints...it's INSANE..and I can barely keep up...but then there's this boxing routine that's insanely fun!

and Garlic Chicken.... it's just Chicken breast, with Garlic and pepper sprinkled on it and baked..nothing special..but 40 minutes later...WOOWEEE is it a yummy dish
 
Hey! Haven't chatted in a while (I've been working ridiculous hours) but it's good to see that you're still doing well! Hope the family is well, too :)

That chicken sounds good, I have a stainless steel pan, and I get it hot, slap a chicken breast into it - no oil, a bit of pepper and lemon, then put the lid on it and let it cook. It actually doesn't stick to the pan, and all the juices are trapped by the lid. It's sooo tasty.

Dang, now I'm hungry.

Boredom is a dangerous thing... so's being broke... Because then you start wanting to snitch snack food that's laying around. I'm bored out of my mind today... the kids are occupying themselves and MTM&K is feelin a tad under the weather today... so... I gazelled for 50 min.. that was fun (read: uneventful)... wow..I'm bored out of my mind! How's everyone else?
 
too cold for them today... need to get my son some new shoes... only has sandals. But that's gonna change in a few weeks (Tax return). Anyway... things are a bit better this evening..about to get the kids in bed... then it's relaxnight for me and the mrs! having stewed tomatoes, beans and maybe some rice tonight..yum!
 
Superbowl Sunday.... meaning tortilla chips, salsa, baked wings... I guess today's my off day! LOL...have a great sunday all!
 
Stick a fork in me people! Ugh... So last night, the Colts outran the Bears for a nice win in Rainy South Florida. Prince Shredded like there was no tomorrow, really really tore it up! And I had WAY too much snack food! LOL. I had tortilla chips, queso, Spicy queso, Baked chicken wings (with sweet barbecue sauce), um... some triscuits, and some Nestea with some Captain Morgan spice'in it up ;) and last night, while I slept... I swear that the combinations gave me the weirdest, worst dreams I've had in a LONG time! Woke up this morning and exercised... Did some High impact cardio, and it was pretty good... was tired so it was a little tough because of myself being tired... but good none the less. I weighed myself and i'm still hovering at 213 so... now that it's a new week, I'm gonna try to get back into a more straight forward routine! Gonna start tracking my Cals again, get focused again. Can't wait till next week when we get to do our MAJOR grocery shopping..I'm so excited to be able to get all the things we need! Gonna be such a relief!
