jeez if anything your not eating enough. At breakfast your getting about 250-300calories, lunch looks about 550, and dinner about 400-500 calories. Total 1350 and throw in 400 calories for your snacking and and estimate errors I made. And you get 1750 calories. According to the American Cancer Society your should be getting 3591 calories a day to maintain your current weight of 212 and 3000 calories to drop 1lbs a week. I selected moderately active since your do cardio and workout 5 days a week. I'd double your chicken serving at dinner and eat a nutrition bar at work preferable with some protein if you can sneak it. You don't want your body to start storing fat and using muscle for fuel since your not eating enough.

Hey man... So...I've taken your advice and I've started eating more. Doubling my portion of protein, eating protein bars now for early snacks...and guess what guys!?!?! I've broken that plateau and I'm at 208!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8lbs from onderland. I hate BMI calculators, they don't take into account your body type, your age, and your muscle mass... Well...my scale does. According to my scale, I'm no longer Obese but overweight! YAY me! And my water percentage has gone way up as well! I'm so excited to be honest! Anyway, I've got a bunch to get done..I'll try to reply to anyone that posts! Have a good day!
 
Wow, just reading your thread for the first time. Well done on all the weight loss so far. That is inspiring to me because you are a guy who was (sorta)close the the same weight as me beginning and you have close to the same target weight. Great Job! Check out my diary I started a few days ago.

Thanks Stuco...I'll pop on by your diary sometime tonight hopefully...Another one of us that is in the same start/goal weight is Tomble...but he has been so busy with work..he never gets a chance to show up! But his diary is pretty good too...gotta dig it out though! And thanks BGS, I was at that same weight for a good 2 weeks and it feels like a fever has broke! The Wife is doing good... really good today actually... which is a wonderful turn for the better! I'll let her know you said hey!

Plateau is broken..but haven't been to...uh...how should I put it? Strict with my diet! Had some chinese last night, it was a pretty large dish. And today, I had one slice of pizza (Spinach Chicken Alfredo Pizza at that! Which after doing some research, the slice was only about 290 cals...which wasn't TOOO bad.. had an actually pretty healthy lunch afterwards... YOu know how you sometimes have a "cheat day" and the following days you just feel like blah...well..that's me today! bleck. Still hungry though..which is very very VERY frustrating... anywho... today's my no exercise day but may still gazelle tonight...
 
When I feel hungry I eat fruit - If I have the constant need to eat I eat fruit and veggies or have a bowl of cereal

Mine just say ErrH% after giving me the weight. Apparently my fat content must be to big for it to handle still :/
 
Hey guys...I'm not gone or anything...just have been really busy..and let me tell ya...I'm stuck now at 208.5 and today..I.Can't.Stop.Eating today...ugh... had cereal for breakfast...not to bad, then I had a protein bar for a snack, then for lunch I had half a turkey sub on wheat... lots of veggies... but all day I've been snacking on wheat crackers and grapes and and and and and... ugh. I wouldn't be suprised if I'm back at 215 by tonight :eek: Anyway, having salmon with brown rice and veggies tonight...possibly a half a potatoe. Not sure on that last part.... Oh..and I had celery too... which was good though. :)

Snacking isnt' bad..just depends on what your snacking on. It doesnt' sound bad to me...at least its not candy bars and chips!

Anyways, hope things get better and you start loosing again! Its a great feeling!
 
well...I'm at the last 20-25 mark...and my weightloss has slowed to a crawl....I think my body thinks it has all the time in the world :(
 
I sometimes think patience training is the basic skill without which none of us would lose any weight. It must be really hard when you have to put in more and more patience as you're getting towards your goal.

I don't know whether I'm looking forward to that or not! :D

I suppose all the benefits you've gained from your weight loss so far, help you keep on with the food and exercise that gave them to you.

Hang in there. It does happen. :) :)
 
Hey Guys..I need some assistance here...some serious responses.... I'm feeling more and more like I'm slipping out of my healthy eating/exercise plan... I mean, yeah, granted, I went to bed incredibly late last night (saw Brian Setzer Orchestra in concert and they were AMAZING!!!!) but I didn't wake up and exercise this morning :(. I had subway last night, chinese tonight... I look in the mirror and I'm starting to see the old me (even though the clothes still fit loose). Does this make sense to anyone? Am I going nuts? I've been working out really well, upped my cals like everyone said I should...and I STILL haven't lost! And it's drivin me nuts!I know I'm not as strict with my exercise and diet as I used to be... but I still average 60 pushups a night (atleast) and 40 situps right before bed, exercise 6 days a week (except today... :() and... argh it's getting frustrating... very very very! Oi... anyway... please help... comment.... talk... just... need support...
