woot! love the pullups! thats still one my goals.
Unfortunatly i still cant do it - the buggery about being heavier than most people my size i think lol. All that stinkin muscle in my butt and thighs!
I reckon im not too far off it though
 
Good morning all.

Ugh...I do not feel good really. Not good at all. My stomach is in all sorts of knots. This morning when I was doing my Core Synergistics this morning, I actually had to stop right before it went to the bonus round. I felt like my food from last night didn't digest or something... felt like it was going to make a revisit to the outside world. I just couldn't go on. Yesterday was Yoga and I got through that no problem. It's recovery week and it's all good. Seems I"m gonna get my but kicked. I'm going to be in Georgia all this week, and I'm taking my dvd's with me and gonna do them off of my laptop. Kenpo tomorrow. I need to try to eat something... I'm just... yeah... not feelin good. How was everyones weekend?

Thanks. The only bad thing is.. the ledge/shelf is incredibly sharp. Hurts my hands like you wouldn't believe! I have bruises on my fingers. I SO want to do more. I can't wait till I move to GA...there should be a chin up bar in the office gym where i work.

Well..with how freakin crazy your bike riding is...you're insane! I also think that I can actually do more than I was able to do when I did that on the ledge/shelf because it's so high...there's a little bit of a apprehension doing them cause I"m so high up without a chair to stand on...If there's one that's lower..I think I'll be able to go full steam. I'd be doin them WAY more often as well.

Holy Crap Dari...how long has it been since you've been in here!?! :eek2: I can't wait to take my picture to see the difference from now to a month ago. The kiddo's are doing great... all ready to move too! We're all ready! LOL. Tash is doing GREAT... feeling so much better than when she was pregnant. So that makes both of us happy! How are you?

Do you have any gardening, or metalwork gloves - I mean something heavy duty like leather? I used to use them for helping to carry things that were too heavy for me. I don't necessarily know that they'd be good for your situation, but it occurred to me that they might. Then again, with that height issue perhaps it will be safer to wait till you have something more appropriate. How fun to find out that you could do the chinups though!!

Nope..no heavy duty gloves..but I do suspect that I will wait till I have access to one that is lower so I don't break my neck on "Dismount" LOL. I'm going to GA Tomorrow to find our place and get a van. Don't want to be gone too long...but gotta get this done! On a plus note..I'm feeling a bit better than this morning...so I'm going to probably finish the last 10-20 minutes of Core later on today. Won't be able to do Kenpo till tomorrow evening though due to travel. :(
 
The goal is to be packed up and out of here in 2 weeks. We've started packing...it's coming down to the wire. My wife's sister is coming down on next Tuesday and she's going to help. So I'm excited!
 
Hey guys...no real time to post. I'm headed out of state today. it's 4 a.m. and my ride will be here at 5. I'll be on a business trip to the new office I'm moving too, but they actually have the P90x system at the office gym so I'll be able to actually continue there. Full set of weights and equipment there... Such a sweet set up. Anyway, if I don't show up for a few days...that's where I'm at... don't think I ain't bringin it. I'm just bringing it without time to post HOW I brought it. LOL...

I know you are super busy, but I have another question for you. I just did the p90x evaluation and I passed everything - except I couldn't do jumping jacks for 2 min.! I only did it for 40 secs. My legs were starting to hurt. I know I probably could've pushed it for another 20 secs., but no way could I've done them for 2 min. w/o a rest.

Do you think I could still succeed with the p90x or should I just go with the Power 90 workout for now?

So sorry I haven't messaged... ugh...it's been hectic. I say go for the X. Tony says on the video "Do your best...forget the rest". When I started losing weight back in Last October, I couldn't do 3 pushups and could only do jumping jacks for 20 seconds. If you ask my wife... I started bawling at that moment. Yes..I'm a grown man and I'm not ashamed to admit that I started bawling like a little baby. I was so ashamed of myself. Showed just how far I had let myself go. It was humbling. If you can pass everything else, I say give it a go. Over the course of the 90 days you do the X... you'll be doing jumping jax like a pro. And now here's this mornings post:

Hey every one... I'm so sorry I have been non responsive and such... This move to Georgia has thrown my routine completely off it's axis. I've managed to get some exercises in but for the most part... it's been a crap shoot. Now... On Monday, I did the new routine... Chest and Biceps (I think that's the one I did..whatever it was...it was new to my routine) and let me just say...even if I did have time... (I've driven to Georgia 3 times in the past week. I'm beat), I would be too sore to really accomplish anything. I'm serious when I say that...after doing that routine, I can only manage 2 regular pushups. The upside is, my chest has gotten SO much bigger (for the better) since then. But my body needs rest. I've been going to bed at 1 to 2 a.m., still needing to get up at 5:30 or 6. Not a great combo. I know i'm going to have to start phase 3 over..which sucks..but I'll be glad when thi smove is! How are ou guys doing?

I can only imagine how tiring it is moving. I haven't moved in over 10 yrs...and am so glad for that!

I wouldn't worry about starting phase 3 over - you are doing great!

Thanks! I need topost my 60 day photos. What's funny? I haven't had a real chance to exercise..and yet..I'm still losing weight! Down another 2 lbs! finally broke into the 180's w00t!!!! The wife says there's a difference in my pictures..but I don't see it! LOL
