SaturdaySaint! Part 3, This time...it's personal!

So.... Today is the last day of doing the old exercises. Tomorrow is my "rest" day (though I'm mowing my lawn and it currently looks like a South American jungle that Bear Grylls would be to scared to venture into so..that will definitely give me some exercise!) I'm excited. Sunday can't come fast enough. I've been eating very well, and doing some cardio/boot camp/weight training this week...but none of it is gonna compare to the next 90 days! First picture will be posted Sunday! Hows everyones morning?

I'm glad you are so excited. That seems to be what gets you through weight loss. If you slack off and get bored or frustrated is when you go no where! So be excited, you have done so good!!:)

How great that you're excited. It's motivating just to hear. I'm looking forward to Sunday! :)

Okay...so today is Saturday, and I got up early this morning and mowed my lawn. Had a normal breakfast (two egg whites, turkey bacon, 1 slice of cheese, some home made wheat bread...mmmmm...breakfast sammich!). But before I ate...I took my Before p90x pictures as I start the program. Should I put the pictures in here or the before and afters? These are gonna be done every week. I'm hoping thers a noticable change each week..otherwise this'll be kinda pointless now won't it? Would you guys prefer the pictures in here or in the before and afters? I have the first set ready today.

I Hurt.
I'm sweaty.
I want to puke.
I feel slightly (VERY slightly) Euphoric.
I just completed my first day of my new exercise routine p90x... And it royally beat me into submission.

I chose to do the lean plan in favor of the Classic which is the equivalent of Ivan Drago going against Rocky. The Lean plan is Rocky deciding to drive to the steps that he famously ran up...but instead of running up them, he had Aidrian carry him up. And it STILL kicked me when I was down. Holy crap I haven't been worked that hardcore since my first 2 weeks of basic training. I did the session called Core Synergetics today. It's an hour long. It's brutal, it's unforgiving, and even with me losing 80 lbs... it's almost impossible to do all the way through on your first try. Or second. Or third for that matter. Are you noticing a pattern? I feel bad because I COULDN'T get all the way through. I know that means I pushed until muscle failure, but I wanted that sense of accomplishment. But I HAVE to realize that I have 90 days for that. 6 days of different exercises. This is gonna be rough. But I hope that I see the real results. Part of my issue is that I have to focus on keeping my core muscles engaged. At night, I normally do 100 pushups and 100 crunches before bed. I think I may drop down to 50 each at night as my arms feel like they're going to pull a "Tranformers" but instead of turning into a groovy 2008 Camaro, they've decided to just pop off my torso and slam to the ground in a fit of defiance.

I'm pretty sure my body is angry at me... but my heart is lovin it. Tell me that getting all the way through it isn't the most important thing..and that I did good. I made it 40 minutes into it without really having a problem... then I had to fast forward past the "bonus round". When it hit the last 10 minutes of the exercises, I hit total muscle failure and all I could do was shake it out... I'm scared for the days when I have to do an hour PLUS the added ab exercises. So... what have I learned? I have learned that...I haven't seen nothin yet! Welcome to your new life nancy boy... bring the pain!

This is p90x working me out: :boxing: (yes... that's me on the left and the routine on the right)

Going to shower then go food shopping... if there's replies, I'll get to them when I get back!

Have a good day - if your body is sore and beat up - you better not lift up any of your little kiddos today - ha ha ha

Okay..so after a an afternoon of relaxing, (after braving HellMart), expending that much energy REALLY took alot outta me... I sat on the couch with my little girl and I ended up falling asleep. And if I may say, I've been pretty insatiable with my hunger today! It's crazy! I'm chewing gum now so I can keep from stuffing my face. It really goes to show how little my workouts have been doing lately... I wonder how I'm gonna do during work days... Guys... any comments would be welcomed! And thanks Cinder... My ass really was kicked!

I don't hurt as much today. Today was the Cardio portion of p90x. 45 minutes of fat burning exercises. And you know what? It was invigorating. When I was doing the Biggest Loser High Intensity Cardio exercise, first of all, it's only 20 minutes. I never really thought that it was long enough but figured "Hey, they're the experts, right?". Well, I didn't even begin to burn like I did this morning. And what's even better, it was slow methodical cardio that really had my heart pumping, my arms and legs burning...it was AWESOME. I was able to make it through the full 45 minutes without really stopping (except for once because there was one exercise that was crazy as hell...but was awesome all at the same time.)

Now I'm a tad sore from yesterdays multi wave assault on the frontlines of my muscles. It was pretty rough...but tomorrow is what I'm a tad worried about. I have Arms and Shoulders plus Abripper X. Abripper X just sounds intimidating. I'm going to RIP your abs a new one! I envision myself placed on a rack ala Hostel and my abs being transplanted out with wonderfly sculpted ones.... but put a blowtorch and scythe into the mix and that's what scares me. Sometimes I have a hard time with my back and keeping my balance and I want to be able to do it the best of my ability. We'll see though. I finally have my grapefruits back as my snack for the afternoon so..I'm excited about that too! w00t! How is everyone doing?

Im glad your excited and made it through your 45 min work out this am - I will stick to the elliptical it seems to be working for me - heeheehee
