SaturdaySaint! Part 3, This time...it's personal!

It could be a number of things :) Try not to stress too much plus stress affects our bodies weirdly as well...

Try to relax a bit b/c you know once that baby gets here - there will be no more relaxing for a long time - I cant wait to welcome the bundle of joy - I wished I lived closer - Id totally be there for you guys

Thanks for the encouragement... I sure needed it and it helped! Thanks!

Hi SS. About the inch. Weight loss is weird and even measuring is not a reliable indicator for me - too much variability - I can change my waist measurement enormously according to how tight I'm holding my tummy - who's to say I have it in the same spot as last time!! :D Maybe you're the same?

About the exercise. You so enjoy the challenge of this thing don't you?!! :D You're doing great!!!

About the car. Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap. Good luck. *Hugs*

About the bundle. Supposed to come on my son's birthday if I remember correctly, 13th August. My kids were kind enough to arrive 10-12 days early though and I'm sending a wish for early and kindly for you guys too. We will be here, with bated breath, waiting for pictures!! :)

Hey Felici! I found that the inch was actually my lowest ab developing! My weight distributes itself in such weird ways from day to day. It's crazy. I absolutely love the challenge of this. I hate it..but I love it. I'm loving how much burn I'm feeling while doing it. And yeah...the truck issue sucks. I'm hoping to hear good things from the mechanic this week. Being immobile sucks.

So the baby is taking a long time to come... he's taking his sweet time. Silly silly boy!

Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy.

Thanks so much! now if only we can get him to come here!

i was trying to think up a helpful suggestion for the car thing, then i realized that ... hell! you could burn a few calories running to the hospital with a 9 month in labour pregnant woman! :D:D

HA...I can just see me now...Wife on my back...running like a crazy man down the highway... her trying to breathe through contractions...

Sssooo I hope that baby comes soon - I cant even remeber what sex it is - is it a boy ? and have you guys choosen a name - it is funny we talk alot but yet we havent talked abt if the baby was named -- lol...

As for you exercising when you dont feel like it way to go!!! Your doing great!!!

And I can totally see a diff in the pics...keep up the great work:D:D:D

5:26 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2007. Cardio X

Stayed up too late
I'm quite sweaty
Today is the Wife's Offical Due Date

You know, I think that, when you're body is tired while exercising, you exert more energy. I could be talking out of my @$$ here but, I'm pretty sure that, the mornings after I stay up too late, I find myself sweating more by the time my work out is done. Did Cardio X this morning, 45 minutes of pure glory. I think that between the Kenpo and the Core portion of the workout is my favorite.

I think there is a chance that I may have overdone it with my eating yesterday. I just felt weak and needed a pick me up and I needed fuel. It's not like I had bad foods, I just ended up eating a tad extra. I had a 90 cal organic granola bar and a piece of wheat toast. Okay...so maybe I didn't overdo it at night, but during the day I found myself snacking on a few crackers here or there. I really don't think I'm getting enough cals lately. I think my metabolism is definitely picking up again... getting all peppy and what not.

Today we go to the Dr. one last time. The wife'll either be induced today or be set for induction tomorrow. It's crazy to know that...by tomorrow night, I'll have another child. I can't wait. And I bet my wife can't wait even more. 2 boys and a girl. Not a bad combo, yes? Anyway, I'm off work for the next little bit while we get this going so... time to prepare for the new baby and the move! So much change!

Come on baby, come on baby! It's time to be born on my boy's birthday!!

I'm glad the inch was muscle!! And that you are still getting so much out of this workout program!

Wishes' comment reminded me about my nephew's arrival - sister and brother-in-law living out on a farm, first baby coming early, battery on the car suddenly dead!! Brother-in-law running to the next farm, where there was no one home, grabbing a battery and running back... and then when they got to the country hospital, my sister being flown to the city by Flying Doctor!!

And they were all fine afterwards too!! What a gorgeous man that little premmy baby turned into.

This is such an exciting time. I do hope everything goes smoothly for you and it's a time of maximum joy.

Thanks Felici, I'm now working from home until the end of the month. And frankly, I LOVE it. I'm sitting here in my bedroom, remoted into 3 different workstations, jamming to some tunes, and getting hugs from my kids occassionally. I love life! w00t! Even though I'm working from home, I'm still getting up at 4:30 though. I like the routine.

6:24 a.m. Tuesday August 14, 2007 Arms and Shoulders + Ab Ripper X

My arms...oh my arms
My Abs...oh my abs
My son...why are you taking so long?

Okay...I'm going to have an icy hot nightmare. I hurt so good. But what's worse is, I think I'm crashing...so I need to go make my protein shake asap and have Breakfast. Either that or I REALLY need to get to bed earlier. So I've started using heavier weights for the majority of my arms & shoulders routine. And I have to tell ya... my body is shaking even more. I literally feel like I could vibrate through a wall right now. That's how intense the vibration is in my arms and abs right now. It's an awesome feeling really.

When I first got up, I was feeling blah... by the time I was half way through, I was feeling tons better. With Ab Ripper X, I got pretty far with it.. and made it to 36 Mason Twists at the end!!!!! I know it's only 6 more, but if you ever have to do them..you know that 6 more is amazing. I'm almost to the 40 mark! That's awesome!

At any rate... the wife is scheduled for an induction on Thursday, but we're hoping it comes way sooner! I need to go shower and start my day! Good Vibrations everyone!

It is absolutely great that you are making such progress with this exercise package. I will probably never do anything remotely like it - but I do get it about the good vibration!! :D

Fingers crossed for the new arrival. :D

11:02 a.m. August 15, 2007. Yoga X.

No baby yet
Yoga X was good
No baby yet :(

So, my yoga went good this morning. Now mind you, toward the end of the first part, which has me doing the downward dog and runners/warriors pose. Getting down in plank and getting into position...my wrists still start hurting after a while. But atleast I got through it. I'm finding that I am more flexible though. And enjoying the breathing the most.

Another observation though, towards the end of the exercise, we do alot of leg exercises, scissor kicks and what not... and to be honest... my legs are HEAVY. Their lean...but I really don't have the flexibility that I thought I would once I lost that much weight in my legs.

Anyway, the wife is now having timable contractions even though they stopped all together last nightl. So hopefully we're having some action. Today is my last day of my old job and I'm being taken out to a chinese buffett. I love going here... but for a different reason now. I used to love going to gorge myself. But now, I love going and setting an example. I was told by the people at my old job that I inspired over half the office to do start an interoffice weight loss challenge. That makes me feel good. So I'm going to go here in a bit. If she goes into labor (the contractions are 10 minutes apart), I will post in here later on this evening! Have a good one!

Wow!! That is gorgeous! That is important!! Great to hear!

Contractions that come then stop the night before are just the bell for getting the last minute arrangements finished off. Handy. Not a problem.

If they are 10 minutes apart repeatedly, that is labour isn't it! Yay!! :D I hope she beats the induction!!

5:10 a.m. August 16, 2007. Labor Coach X.

"Working out" since 1:30 a.m.
She's feeling the burn
She's about to bring it!

Okay, that was incredibly corny. No work out for me today kids! The wife is getting ready to go, the bags are all packed and by the door. We're about to head for the hospital now cause it's GAME time!:jump: :jump: It's still all primarily front labor, which is great because our first two were all back labor. Not fun.

I'm sitting here wanting to post something witty...frankly i'm too tired. I'm bringing my laptop with me so that I can hopefully have wifi access from the hospital and get pictures uploaded. If not, they'll be uploaded tonight. Talk to you all later!

 back labour

Well here's trusting this will remain a bit easier than last time. How cool that she has a genuine coach with her and that you are all organized.

Enjoy!! :D

8:00 a.m. August 17th 2007. Tired Papa X

No I didn't do Kenpo
OR arms and shoulders/ab ripper x yesterday
No worries! I'm a new papa!!!!

My son was born yesterday at 10:31 p.m. last night. The wife was induced at 8 a.m. and the action didn't happen until last night around 5 or 10 minutes before she started pushing (which she only had to do for about 6 minutes being that all the work was done pretty much all day! I don't have much time for a full synopsis as I need to get back to the hospital with the kids so they can meet their new brother! But I figure I'd throw in a pic for you guys!!!

Oh wow! what a cutie! both baby and daddy!

This is the most coolest super fantastic thing ever :)

Where do we post the baby gifts too?

Thanks everyone! So mama and baby are home! They're sitting over on the couch, both about to take a nap. Everyone is doing GREAT and the two older siblings are just BEAMING at their little brother. The wife was induced at 8 a.m. Thursday morning, and didn't deliver until 10:31p.m. :eek2: But when she actually pushed, she only pushed for 6 minutes and he was here! How about that huh? He was 9lbs even. 20.5 inches long, and had a 15inch head. I don't even know of I'm recapping something I already said, but alas, I'm so proud, I figured I'd say it again! He is SUCH a good baby, very quiet, barely cries, eats like a champ, and sleeps very well. I've decided to nickname him Tank! He's definitely built like one!

So last night, I was looking over my p90x guide and found that, last week, when I started phase 2 of p90x, Month 2; I was doing it wrong. I was still looking at phase 1's schedule. So, being that I have not exercised in 3 days (with good reason), and eating 3 days worth of hospital food, I decided that today, I would official restart Phase 2 of p90x. This morning started again with Core Synergistics... here's my take:

Sunday, August 19, 2007, Phase 2, Core Synergistics

Feels like this first time
Wow I'm sweaty
Okay... that hurt!

LOL... it's a good hurt though. This past week, I couldn't focus on exercising like I wanted to. Quitting my job, helping the wife with her labor, etc. I exercised monday through Wednesday. Not on Thursday though. we were up REALLY early breathing and helping her labor progress. Then for the next few days, nothing. So I began again this morning. And boy let me tell you. It borderline felt like I was starting p90x all over again, from the beginning, without doing it ever before. Talk about some pain! yowza! lol. But it was good. Really good actually! I couldn't finish the whole routine. My arms were shot. But their solid and vibrating. I love it! I love the burn. I think also because I'm drowsy that it attributed to my lack of completion. No worries though...I'm excited for Phase 2. Can't wait.

So with that all said and done. No progress pictures today...BUUUUUT... I have baby pictures AND video! Have a look..and comment comment comment! I'm proud of my lil Tank!

New Arrival!

and some Video! w00t! I love my iMac
