Guess I should start a journal on here. :newbie:
I started my journey on March 3, 2007. I stumbled on this site while looking up before and after weight loss photos to see how people who were heavy changed their bodies. I was seeing if my rolls could actually tighten up and look like a "body" rather then overflowing flubber.
I don't really post much, but I did do the Summer Challenge. I mostly just skimmed the site and watched out for more people showing their before and afters to see the amazing results.
I do Turbo Jam 5 times a week for about an hour a day. I probably talk to myself too much. Im always telling myself reasons why I CAN do it and how whimpy NOT doing them is. Im hard on myself, but for all the right reasons. Im actually liking myself :eek:

Anyways, lets get to some pics shall we?




I kind of like taking pics and seeing a change or difference. Its exciting to see a 3 weeks difference. I probably take TOO many pictures and it wouldnt hurt deleting a lot from my gallery:angel:

Im going to start a juice fast (for 4-5 days) to jumpstart my metabolism. I have adapted to my low calorie diet (cant, and shouldnt, eat any less then that) and my workouts. I dont have the money to get new workout stuff so Im going to go advanced and do Cardio with the ball to add resistance. I have weighted gloves and theyre just not doing much with the cardio anymore. With the juice fast and the added resistance I should feel pretty good by the end of the week! I cant wait. (Ive done this before)

I can't get the pictures to load .. I use a dial up and it will never do pics or videos or anything .. sorry about that. I am glad to see you've started a journal though and hope it goes well for you.
 
All I can say is WOW!! I can see a huge difference in your body in those pictures above.

I can't believe your transformation. That is amazing!! How much weight did you lose.

I think it is so great you are doing so much exercise. You are my idol!!

Juice fasting is so great! I just love the clean feeling I get after a quick detox. I look forward to seeing more pictures.

Goodness, did I have to hunt for my thread!!..lol Guess thats what I get for not posting anything on my "rest days". (looks like Ill have to favorite it..lol)

Ilovemoose- If youd like, I can email them to you if you want to see them. :) Not a problem. I tried to get them to show up with just the tag, but for some reason it only showed the link. The link at the bottom of my post is the exact same pictures and they show up in the thread, mostly without any links.

I actually dont know how much weight I lost. I dont have a scale and have been seeing my progress by strictly measurements.

These are my measurements when I started-
Chest- 45.25 (Didnt do bust then, just under the boobs)
Waist- 45
Hip- 49.5
L Arm- 13.5
R Arm- 13.25
L Thigh- 27
R Thigh- 27

My measurements now are-
Chest-36.5
Waist- 33
Hip- 40.5
L Arm- 11
R Arm- 11
L Thigh- 21.5
R Thigh- 21.5

Any most MOST recent as of June are
Chest- 34
Waist- 29.5
Hip-36
Arms- 10.5
Thigh- 20.5

I went from a last known size of 20/22ish (guessing because the last shirt I bought was a womans 22) and am now in a juniors 12/13 low rise.


I started my juice fast today. I havent had any juice yet (its 2:15pm) but I have had water and my Rockstar. (Sugar free) I also already did my workout. PHEW...glad thats over and I got the rest of the day to just do whatever. Which is usually play with the kids off and on, dance with them, repeat, etc etc.

A little about myself. I have 2 kids, my son is 2 years old (still nursing) and my daughter is almost 4 years old. Both were C Sections (yuck!) and I worry a lot about my belly where the incisions were made. Ive been told and read that it will "never" go back or tighten up. Not like I was ever "tight" to begin with though. I have faith in my skin though. Im not going to just accept that it wont happen. I have to try.

I will take pictures every 2 weeks and update. I last took bikini pics 1 week ago, so this week after my fast, on Friday, I will take pics. Im nervous to see if theres any change. Im sure everyone knows how that goes.

I know what you mean. I have a hard time noticing it on me too when I look in the mirror, but I can always tell in my clothes.

You are doing amazing!! How is the juice fast going? Those are really tough. How does it kick start your metabolism? I would like to read about that more, very interesting.
 
Well, I was suppose to go off of my juice fast today but dont really have the correct foods to break it with so I have to wait a little longer. Right now I dont even get hungry. I just need some raw veggies and fruits and then I can break it. I broke my last one wrong and paid for it. I had a lot of gas & stomach rumblings. Not fun. Felt like the time I took Castor oil to induce labor with my daughter.

I'm not really sure how it jumpstarts the metabolism. Im just really guessing on that. But I have adapted to everything Im doing and I shouldnt go lower in the calories then I do normally and I dont have the time do 2 hours a day working out. I have designing, my kids, the normal routine to do. The last time I did it I changed my eating habits so to say and then went back to my norm, which my body was used to the fasting diet, so it helped me get off my plateau. I want to be down 1 more size by my birthday at the end of October if I can, so I dont want to wait for my plateau to pass. Impatient you can call it...lol

12/13! Holy hunnies, I am freakishly jealous! lol... I think you just became one of my idols :rolleyes: !
A size by end of Oct.? I think you can do it... look how far you've come since March. Amazing. Keep it up :D
 
Thank you! I hope I can. My 13's are loose, until I put them in the dryer and then theyre perfect fit..lol

I got a pair of Vera Wang jeans in size 12 and they fit perfect. Id like to be in an 11 if possible by Oct 27! Ive got to move my ass! haha
 
I'd like to see them .. am moving house soon and getting a new connection (hopefully broadband if I can find a cheap provider!!) so will be able to see them then. I can see you've lost a lot from your measurements tho .. that's great!

Phew, after a long and pretty lazy weekend, Ive got to get my buns back in gear. I got a deadline to meet damn it! Work it Sarah Work it! lol

Anyways..
Turbo Jam is like Tae Bo, but better and more girly I guess.
I have weighted gloves, and a ball that go with some of the DVDs. Its great cardio. I love it.

Ok, so I totally forget to write in this thing but every couple of days..I suck.:rolleyes:

I have been working on my design website and designing new samples for it so I havent even thought of my journal. I have been doing my workouts as scheduled though. I make sure those are done before I even THINK about working on anything. The time usually flies so if I dont get it in before, I might we well forget about it. Although Monday I didnt do it before and by midnight that night I did a 30min fat blaster (its called Fat Blaster too) because I felt like I hadnt worked out in weeks. I didnt workout the week of my fast because Im still nursing so the fast, combined with working out and nursing I figured was too much so I just let that slide.
IM paying for that now!:eek2: I did a video I havent done in awhile with the workout ball and I forgot exactly how much it targets your abs, although the damn thing is titled "Kickin' Core" (can we say DUH) and my abs and sides are wicked sore! I can feel the ab soreness all the way down to my pubic bone by my C Section scar. I love/hate that feeling. I love that its working me, but man...sometimes the wrong move can be a killer.

Anywho, guess I should stop complaining and get back to designing if I ever want to finish and make more money:rolleyes:
 
Wow I am TERRIBLE!! I come to this forum for motivation from time to time to lift myself up and see people change and I dont even post myself. I feel horrible. I know other people do the same thing I do and lurk around just to get that bit of motivation burning within them.

I have been keeping up with my workouts, although my body has gotten used to my routine. I still am eating healthy and even MORE healthy since I abtained aspartame poisoning..yes poisoning. (long story, but PLEASE dont anyone eat/drink anything with sugar free stuff in it..it will slowly damage your insides [Use STEVIA instead])

Ugh, I hate when the scale dont move and the measurements barely budge. I feel like I try so hard and the times I try really hard it seems like thats the times it dont show in my measurements or scale. I know I know, cry me a river:nopity:

I read through some others' diaries and see that they go through the same thing, so I know Ill eventually break through, Im just so damn impatient!:cuss:

Tomorrows another day..Ive done ok for this week...I hope next week brings me big changes I can be happy about. 2lbs would be nice, or even 2 inches!
 
So SORE! But, Im happy Im sore. I just wish it didnt hurt so much..lol
I started Slim in 6 today. I hope that after 43 days (one of my goal days) that I see a massive improvement. Im going to be strong and stick it to em'! Well, or should I say..lose it to em'? Eh well..lol :hat:
