I can totally relate to all that... In addition to my older brother, most of my little friends had older bros and sisters that loved to watch scary movies... I remember being terrified of Freddie Kruegger when I was like 6 or 7... Also seeing that movie "Pet Semetary" scared the shit out of me when I was little. I, of course, had no business watching those movies anyways because I was far too young... whatever... Now it takes a lot to scare me movie wise....

That's Madonna fo sheezy :) Or Madge as I like to think of her nowadays :coolgleamA:

I would think her first movie would have been "Desperately Seeking Susan"? I'm not too sure on that one.

I did happen to read the un-authorized biography on her written by her brother recently... I am half-way embarrassed/ashamed to say I read it, lol... Just the fact that I'm gay and the book is honestly the juiciest thing I've probably ever read couldn't hold me back, lol...

So stuck at work overnight tonite :( Very sad and lonely here. I'm kicking myself for taking the shift but i know I'm helping someone out by doing it, and I'll be happy when I get paid on Monday. Still though, that doesn't help the 12hrs go by any faster, lol...

So, I'm still really really liking this guy I'm seeing. I can't really focus on anything else but him lately... When I'm not with him, I wonder what he's doing... I wonder if he misses me as much as I miss him when we aren't together... I've never felt this way about anyone before so it's all a little new to me... and scary too... I do think he's way into me, which I'm very happy about.

Last night we went out to this bar called The Bayou... Very tasty and had live music, etc... We went with two of his friends and I felt like I got to bond with them and get to know them a little bit better, so I'm very happy about that.

All in all, it's been a pretty good week :) I didn't get running in but I'm sure I'll get back at it next week for sure. Food has been alright, not perfect but nothing too awful...

I heard that he was going to write the book, didn't realize it already went to print! Why are you embarrassed??? I'm going to read that too. How could we not?? That's got to be some good stuff. Don't tell me anything about the book, I want to read it myself! lol

That will be my reading material during my 11 hour flight to Paris next month. lol

I'm going to Madonnas concert in 9 days!! I can't wait!! She throws the best shows, plus her dancers are smoking hot!

You'll like the book. It was a pretty fast read, imo... That is so cool that you are going to her concert soon. I imagine she throws a pretty good show. I recently just downloaded her Confessions Tour music onto my ipod, its all live of course and it's really good to just chill or workout too. I guess I'm not too embarassed I read the book... hehe

Have you not been to a Madge concert??? You are missing out big time. I went with my gay pals last time (for her Reinvention Tour), they were a riot. The knew all the words and moves like me!! Better than my girlfriends. I also watched her Drowned World Tour.

I expect this tour to be nice and nasty due to her Hard Candy Albumn. lol

She puts on great theatrics. If you ever get a chance, you have to see a show. It's worth every penny! Half naked gay men dancing all over the stage in spandex. lol Oh boy!!!
 
I thought her first movie was Vision Quest, but I guess she made an unknown movie before that called A Certain Sacrifice. I've never heard of it. Vision Quest was a pretty good movie, and Madonna is in one scene where they are in a bar and Madonna is the singer there. Not a real part, but she's singing one of her songs.
 
I've never been to many concerts but I would love to see Madonna for sure. You guys are making me curious though...I didn't know about these movies she had out.

And Sam, I'm so excited for you and the new romance you have going on in your life :) Is this the same guy your friends wanted you to meet or somebody else?

So I heard some juicy gossip about Madge.

Apparently she's obsessed with working out and she works out so much that it killed her sex drive and her intimacy with Guy. I wonder if that's true!!! They were showing her ripped up body, as in lean mean muscle machine.

I had a very nice weekend. We stayed up in Deer Valley, in this suite that was absolutely the nicest place I've ever been in. I did drink some, and got kinda shitty but, so did he, so we were good I guess.

Still working on my anxiety a bit. Day to day and minute to minute. Things are so good right now and i just want to feel the happiness. Mondays suck at work, glad I'm halfway thru at least...

Probably going to go run tonite. It's been too long, so I need to get back into the habit.

Hey all :)

Haven't seen Rick in a couple nights now. We text a lot though. We've just been busy. He and I have had early mornings work wise the past couple days and so that means we can't stay up late and hang out :(... Plus he's had a cold too... Tomorrow night though we are planning on going out to dinner and to see Thriller! It's this dance performance that the UofU puts on every year to get people in the mood for Halloween. I'm way excited plus, a couple of my friends are coming with us too. What to wear what to wear is going through my head, lol... I gotta look fierce I tells ya!

I've been a little anxious with my anxiety the past few days. My brain just won't shut up sometimes and it gets annoying. I've decided I'm going to put major effort into not doing it anymore. Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. I want to allow myself to enjoy the next while and not second guess or get down on myself. This is a great time in my life right now and I need to remember that! I'm finally seeing someone who is worthwhile, I'm the fittest I've been in years, and I'm going to enjoy it dammit!!! :)

Thanks :) Feeling much better about things today. Talked with Rick last night just to make sure we were on the same page about a few things and we are, so all is well and I was stressing about nothin', lol... I tend to do that a lot, hehehe...

I'm at work this morning and I'm going to talk to my bro to see if he will come in extra early to cover for me... so I can get outta here and get a few errands done and maybe take a nap or something.
