I took up snowboarding about 17 years ago when my then friend/now wife mentioned that snowboarders are hot. Hot, huh? Guess I'm not skiing anymore. :cheers2: (Oh, it's so easy for some women to get a guy to do things. :biggrinjester:)
 
Okay :)

I met this guy my friend had been trying to set me up with yesterday. He is 29 and manager of this pretty hip restaurant here in my city. He's cute and we spent the night together last night... and probably tonight:D He's tall like me and big and strong :)

I'm still trying to get to know him. He's extremely nice and I like him and think he is cute and he seems to like me... So we will see... It is still very very early stages.

This guy is almost my height or a little shorter. He's stocky and built though and I feel comfortable with him. The chemistry was there for sure but I definitely want to get to know him better. He bikes and is rock climbing some too, so he has a few hobbies I don't share yet... He's about to start school in Dec. and I start in Jan, so I want to have as much fun as I can before we get all busy and stuff... I've seriously been out of the loop for so long that it all kinda feels foreign to me... No stress though, only fun ;)

I'm definitely intrigued. He's an Eagle Scout from long ago, so he likes to go hiking and camping and stuff. I like that for sure. I think he'll be fun and get me out of my shell a little bit hopefully... do some things that are out of the box. One thing that sucks is that we both work pretty opposing schedules... We'll just see what happens.

Opposing schedules might be helpful in keeping things a bit slower then if you guys were together all the time. My space your/space kind of thing. Good for the long term, if that's in the cards.

I know what you mean with the my space/ your space type of thing. I'm into that for sure. I think the reason I'm still such good friends with a lot of my friends is the fact that I make it a point to not see them everyday. I'm just like that I guess....

Val- He did mention being bi actually... He's been engaged a couple times even and went on a mission for the church. He came out when he was 23 though, just like me. We do have a lot of things in common but at the same time we really have a lot of differences... So I'm thinking he's completely living his life as a gay man now and not bi... I'll have to learn more about that I guess...

BTW, I'm still morally challenged, just older and married. My wife wouldn't fall for that line... at least, not from me...
