I went out with Rick last night and had a blast. We went to see Thriller with two of my friends- Brittany and Liz. We all had an excellent time and they enjoyed each other. We had dinner at the Red Butte Cafe and it was delicious. I went shopping a little bit earlier in the day and got some clothes, so I was lookin hawt, and so was Rick...

My friend Brittany just graduated back in May from the UofU... I'm so proud of her. She is working with a great company and looking into buying a condo soon. Apparently though, lol, I'm not a member of the BMW mafia, as I like to call it, lol... Brittany and Rick both drive nice BMWs and it made me want one.... hehe,,, Someday I tell myself :)

I actually went shopping solo. I'm sure we will go together soon tho ;) He's such a nice dresser, so I felt like I needed something new to look spiffy in, lol...

BMWs are nice but they make me a little nervous, hehe. I currently drive an old Honda Civic with a cleft palate, it's paid off and basically A to B transportation... It's definitely no BMW but Rick doesn't seem to care, which I like... I definitely like to spend money on clothes but, my car has always kinda looked like shit. I think we are on the same page about a lot of things. Whenever we go out I try to be really adamant about going DUTCH on things, because I feel like I can take care of myself. Last night I bought his ticket to the show and he got dinner, so we are even I think ;) I don't think he's used to being with someone who wants to help pay for things, or at least offers... I'm sure things will fit in to place more and feel more comfortable in that way as time goes on. He's funny. He says his weakness shopping wise is shoes and I told him mine is jeans... We are two gay peas in a designer pod, lol :smilielol5:

I have never been really interested in the way my car looks--ask anyone! It's just not my thang. But if a Genie granted me any car I desired, I'd go with a Blackura NSX. Just cause ;) (my homegirl has a black acura that's what she calls it)

Just like you not to take advantage and make Rick your Sugar Daddy! In time, though, you may as well let him spoil you :p You deserve it! You could give him massages. If he's big and strong, he probably needs em!

Yeah, I've never been too concerned with how my car looks either... That's why I never contacted Operation Smile to get my car's cleft palate fixed and just instead used duct tape... As far as I'm concerned its paid off, runs great, gets me from a to b, and the insurance is dirt cheap... and I wasn't shitting myself too badly when gas was up over 4 bucks a gallon because my car sips fuel like a fine wine ;) Sure it isn't too pleasing to the eyes but I think it just makes me look better when I step out of it, right? LOL

I don't mind him spoiling me a little bit and repaying him with massages ;) He likes those, lol... Hey, I wouldn't mind a sugar daddy as much as the next person but I think I'd feel kinda guilty about it too. I work hard for my money and I know he works hard for his and I just like to help out and treat where/when i can... I actually have no idea how much money he makes compared to me but i think I do alright... Enough to keep food on my back and clothes in my belly... and on my body :)

It's funny... At dinner last night Rick asked me if I wanted to order dessert (the place we went is know for their WIDE array of home made delicious desserts)... I resisted a little saying no at first, then he said he was getting one and for me to get one, so I said I'd share with him. blah blah blah... He finally smiled and told me I was too passive and nice and to order dessert if I wanted it (I knew he was buying dinner)... I guess I'm just weird like that, perhaps a little too considerate and think too much in my head... He thinks it's cute now... oh just wait :)

Dessert for me ended up being this huge piece of pecan pie (it's my fav there) that is like 5 inches tall and loaded with pecans... Rick got the triple chocolate mouse cake with fresh raspberries all throughout it. Very delish and I'm sure anyone could get a sugar contact high from just standing next to our table, lol...

That's cute about you and Chris. I guess you just have to let people take care of the bill sometimes... I'm typically a pay my share type of guy. I have to remember I'm still very new to all of this :)

my previous statement looks like I was saying Chris and I have been a couple for 2 years--that's not what I meant! We're best homies, fo sheezy. And you probably WILL get used to Rick treating you in time. I understand the discomfort, though. I ALWAYS refuse drinks at bars from random guys. I usually say, "I got my OWN job!" LOL! What a bitch, hahaha!

I totally got what you meant ;) I am a refuser to SOME people treating me (not necessarily Rick, it definitely feels different with him) just because I always wonder if they expect something because of it. Money is weird like that sometimes, ya know?

Randomness question BTW, because your very knowledgable imo... Have you ever heard of the tea that they make from the tears of Panda Bears? I just barely heard about it the other day...
