Sam's from Chunk to Hunk Journal :)

I have a friend who lost 70 lbs by running, mostly on the treadmill. After he lost all the weight, he started lifting, but still runs a lot. He is pretty ripped, so I think you can get a great bod that way. The marathon runners in the Olympics were way too skinny, but I don't think you're doing that much running! That's awesome you notice a difference in your legs. I like your new ticker! Keep running :)

Look at you with your new avatar! I see you wear glasses! me too!!

You look so happy in that pic, all smiles.

I hope this week is good to you, way to get in the shakes and all.

:iagree: HEY DID YOU KNOW I'M GOING TO MEET BLAKE RUSSELL???

She's speaking at Fleet Feet in Aptos the 27th this month, I'm hoping to be inspired. Um, yeah she IS really really skinny, but I imagine it must be difficult to keep on weight if you're running 30 miles a day, several times a week. Running actually decreases appetite sometimes. not all the time. but sometimes!

Sam, I'm gonna post a Yoga thread The Club soon and lay out all my resources and gear. K?

HUGS

That sounds awesome Val! I am very serious about getting into yoga and hopefully embracing it. I need something else besides running (which is great) to channel some of my energy into.

I do indeed wear glasses Miss JB :) I wear contacts half the time too but these new glasses I have I love and I think look pretty decent on me, hence the new avatar with me wearing them...

Running tonight is a must. The hiatus is over and now it's time to start pounding out some mileage for this week... Got my hair trimmed this morning, and my friend went to town on my eyebrows. He is talking about doing another photoshoot and using me as one of his models again... Since I'm currently wearing my hair spiky/fauxhawkish again, and the theme of the shoot is FANTASY, he is thinking of me being a colorful bird or a zebra type thing... I'm not exactly sure what that means but it sounds fun and I'm up for anything if it perhaps gets my crazy mug in a commercial again, lol :coolgleamA:

Wow how exciting! I want to live vicariously so I agree with Curvie Girlie, we want to see the pics :) You are very photogenic anyway so I bet your model shoots are awesome. Anyway just came by to say hi, hope you're havin a good day ~Lisa

Aww. You guys are so sweet. I never put up the photos from the first one just because I never got any on a disk yet, I guess I should ask my friend for them... It's just so foreign for me to be a model for someone, even if it is my best friend and it's hair modeling... It's just the last thing I ever thought I would be able to do and have it actually turn out looking alright... Last time I modeled for him, my pics were chosen by judges, against other guys pictures who were ripped and probably more "classicly better looking" and it was exhilarating... To think I could beat them out of a job just because I looked the way I did (a lot of it had to do with my friend, he is seriously gifted) was awesome :) God, I guess I'm pretty vain, lol...

That IS awesome! And no that's not vain, it's a statement of a fact--and if you were truly vain, you wouldn't have accredited your gifted, photographer friend--see, see, we notice these things :D

Hey Trops :)

I've actually never seen that movie. It looks like one I might watch though, I enjoy most of the actors in it (I love Rachel Griffiths, she is brilliant). Josh Hartnett is pretty easy on the eyes too :D

Alan Rickman is really the star, though.

It's so good. English comedy. Some people don't get into that, but I like it.

I'm liking British humour more and more lately. Sometimes it's a little hard for me to follow but usually it's pretty good. I like Alan Rickman as well, I remember the first Die Hard and the Harry Potter movies :)

Hahahaha sometimes when I want to laugh at myself, I think of Eddie and her antics that are similar to mine--the "Avant Guarde Chic" fad-diness about her. And the drunken antics--but I have been a good bunny lately
