Sam's from Chunk to Hunk Journal :)

Hi Sam!

Wow that sounds CRAZY about that chick. I remember seeing this one episode of Cops with this guy who huffed paint and had a mouthfull of paint....gawd couldn't he just stick to endo?

Your routine sounds squeaky clean--good for you!

Thanks Curvie Girlie :) I do what I can. I'm always trying to improve my routine. More more running I tell myself!

One time I got off work and collapsed on the couch... I turned on the TV to watch something mindless for a little while... It was Cops that was on and someone I knew was being arrested on the show. It was an old friend of a friend. It was really weird to see someone at their low, high on crack, crying about it and being arrested on TV... and knowing that person....

Just another reason to not watch TV

I agree most of the time, I really do. I don't miss Intervention though, just because I like it and think it is one of the few "reality" shows with an actual redeeming value. Mostly I been watching the Olympics these past few days. Go Michael Phelps and USA Women's Gymnastics tonight!!!! :)

-Sam

I can't stand reality shows. They are just as far from reality and the fictional shows, sometimes more so. They did a taping at one of my favorite places of that show where the chef comes into a restaurant and saves it by telling them what they are doing wrong. The guy insulted the cook there, whom he personally praised off camera. The producers tried to get some one to start banging on the owner's door demanding to be paid, all fabricated. The menu before and after are pretty much the same. They feel like it did nothing to help them, and the negative exposure only hurt.

As for the Olympics, sure I'd like to watch that, but I'd much prefer to be doing it then watching. I'm also not going to pay for cable or satellite just to sit watching people who are where they are by not sitting.

(Please forgive the rant :D)

I CAN'T wait for tonight's Olympics!!!! I've been watching like crazy the past few days/nights, but I know tonight will be my favorite!

I couldn't wait to tell you... I found the PERFECT pair of jeans at American Eagle! I tried on a bunch of super expensive ones at Buckle, Dillard's etc, but I wasn't satisfied by any of them. I found a pair at American Eagle for $29.50 - $5.00 (sale), so they were only $24.50! They are called the Favorite Boyfriend trouser. I will definitely be buying more of them! I had so much trouble squeezing my thighs and butt into all the other ones, but these ones hug my thighs and butt just perfect! I love the color, too!!!

Glad to hear you found some jeans Tyly! I bet they look awesome, and thats awesome they were a bargain. I have trouble squeezing my big thighs and booty into some of the expensive designer jeans myself sometimes. Every place sizes different anymore it seems, even if the tag reads the same, imo... I just want to run my butt off literally so I can fit comfortably in all my 32's without it looking like shit, hehe...

You can rant all ya want :)

I agree with Reality shows, and of the ones I have/ still do watch it is pretty obvious they are scripted as hell and fake. Intervention is different, imo. I feel like it has some sort of redeemable value...

Olympics I love to watch. Sure I'm not there but this is the next best thing, imo. I still like to watch people's dreams come true, and oogle all the hotties in a unitard:sifone:. TV isn't all bad, just most of it ;)

I made it to the gym last night, just like I said I would. I got home, threw on some gym clothes and went to the gym for a core workout and some running. Didn't quite run a 5k distance last night but, pretty close.

I then got home and watched men's gymnastics. The US was awesome, just not quite good enough to beat China. Still a bronze medal is amazing. I then proceeded to watch a very disturbing episode of Intervention last night about a girl who huffs that spray duster shit for your computer/electronics.... She goes thru like 10 cans a day or something and it is hard to watch... I've never really seen or known anyone who has struggled with inhalants before, so it was kind of eye opening to me I guess. I didn't watch the end so I don't know if she made it to rehab and her update. I shall find it on youtube here in awhile.

Made myself a protein shake with psyllium in it last night (2 scoops) and taking my cleanse pills faithfully. I've been cutting out the meat a little bit, and still need to amp up my fruits and veggies. No more diet coke, just iced tea for me now...

Plan on getting to the gym tonite, for some chest/back/shoulders and a nice run hopefully...

Great job Sam! :)

Keep up the great work.

I hope you're having a great Wednesday. ;)

Hahaha, I saw an episode of "New York Goes to Hollywood" and that was some funny ass shit right there! :rotflmao: But yeah, I got no TV, so.....friends' houses or nothing at all.

Hi Sam :)

It's been kind of hard. I think I just crave the crisp cold taste of it in the morning, or when I'm sluggish... I've just been drinking unsweetened iced tea, skim milk or water so far... Does the trick I guess.

I love the Olympics too. Just watching all those people bust their asses makes me want to go too :) Great job on the shakes and cutting out the soda!

Hey all :)

Got my ass to the gym last night for a good core workout, and a little bit of chest and back. I then ran 3.5 miles on the treadmill and it felt great. Diet was really good yesterday but, my bros surprised me and grilled me a fillet mignon. I needed to eat dinner anyways, so a nice medium rare fillet mignon with a dark salad on the side, with a little goat cheese.... so so good :)

I'm going to have a 5 day weekend coming up here this weekend and I'm super stoked for it! I need to work on some projects around the house though, however. I really really need to work on cleaning up our garage. It's full of old crap that my dad gave us when he moved out of his house last year and didn't want to take with him to his new condo... Plus our garage is full of spiders!!!:eek2:

-Sam

Good luck fighting the spiders. I can't stand them!!!! At least not the garage-type spiders, like black widows and brown recluses.

I have so much cleaning to do as well. Yesterday there was a rattle snake in our driveway :eek2: But hell, they're harmless. They give fair warning if they want to strike.....
