Day 23

Before I begin, I want to say that I am really not a happy camper. It is really good that I have not binged in the old way, considering how badly things are going for me in certain aspects of my life, in fact, in the aspects that I am most insecure about. So I really think that I have come along way, despite the fact that I'm still eating way, way, way too much chocolate and bread. But I'm eating less of those bad things, so that has to be good, right? Anyway, boys are stupid. They really are.

  • porridge and whole milk
  • 2 slices of white bread and flora
  • thick vegetable soup
  • 2 cups of tea and whole milk
  • 6 Jaffa cakes
  • vanilla ice cream and cream
  • barbecue beef Hula Hoops
  • Happy Hippo (I'm a sad hippo right now)
  • can of Club orange
  • bottle of Lucozade

Just keep recording what your eating that makes a huge difference!

Day 24

Hey Michelle, thanks. Yeah, I've realised the boy in question isn't worth it anyway. Idiot. Haha.

Anyway, good news. I lost another pound!!!! I am now a quarter of the way to my goal, believe it or not. 7 horrible pounds lost. And I've lost a stone since February, before I started this diary. I can't believe I let myself get a stone heavier, it's so bad. I am now at my going-to-Spain weight. I feel great!!! My mum noticed I had lost weight yesterday, because I was wearing a t-shirt that was too tight a few weeks ago, and she said, "Have you lost some weight Sadie?" and I was like "Yeah Mum, I have". It felt great to say that. And I got a job for the summer cleaning, which is really physical, so the pounds should just fall off even more! I am going to have the dream body before I know it! Already, I like my body so much more now. I should have just lost this weight a long time ago. Ah well, no regrets.

Anyway, yesterday:
  • weetabix and country store with light milk
  • 2 slices of white bread with ham, potato salad, flora and cheese
  • coffee, light milk and cream
  • 3 Fig rolls
  • 2 plain biscuits
  • 4 Jaffa cakes
  • 2 cups of tea and light milk

For exercise I did Tony Stone's Hip Hop Workout DVD. It's a pretty good exercise DVD for anyone who likes dancing by the way.
 
It certainly sounds like you're gaining control over what you're eating which is a big big step and loosing half a stone in 18 days is really good. I think the only advice I can really give you is to try some new stuff, there are lots of healthy snack foods out there and if you find one you really like then you can easily cut out some of the bad stuff. Are you in the UK by the way? I've just found fruit and cereal bars that are 62cal per bar and unlike many cereal bars they taste very fruity and don't grate your insides.
 
Change in tactics

Okay, I've only lost one pound in the last few weeks, but considering how bad my eating got again, that's not bad at all. I've decided to change tactics and try out a new plan, which will come into effect Monday. I will do this! It's just taking a while.
