After many months of not going to the gym and reverting to my old habits I am back at it again. I am pretty disappointed in myself for gain weight back that I worked so hard to lose. I signed back up to the gym the other day and started working out again. I weighed in at a 325 lbs!!! last summer I was down to 285lbs before I stopped working out. I turned 30 in March and I finally come to realized that I am not getting in younger here, and I need to start doing something now to avoid future health problem and live and long and healthy life.

Hey there! I know what you mean about gaining the weight back and the disappointment that comes along with it. I've been there, done that. But ya know as long as you can acknowledge your mistakes, that's all that really matters because it means that nothing can keep you from your goal, even yourself. You're back on the horse. There is something about turning 30 that must flip a switch or something. I know that's when my weight really started to nag on me, but at that time I was also a smoker. So I quit smoking and a year later I am now tackling the weight.

You're right that we are not getting any younger, but we should also be very grateful that our metabolism is still pretty good, so we can should take full advantage of this time to lose the weight and possibly reverse some of the damage that we've done to our body.

Things are going pretty good at the gym. I am starting to feel a lot better these days. I am still a bit sore from the gym last night but I actually woke up a decent time this morning.

It has been a busy day for me to day. I had to get up early for work and only got two hours of sleep. after work I literally had to run home to meet the delivery drive for the new laptop I bought. Did some cleaning around the house and its already midnight. Time to go to the gym. My arms are still pretty sore but that it ok because I can just work out my legs after my cardio is done.

Tommarrow is going to be a much more relaxed day. I will probably sleep in a little since I don't have to be at work until 2pm. Then jump on the treadmill for a bit and then hit the gym up before I go to bed. Busy Busy.
 
Hi Scott, 30 is often a bit of a crisis age for people, but the good news is you seem to know what you need to do, and more importantly are actually doing it!!!

WTG :) Keep up the good work.. and don't look backwards, life is right here right now.. the choices you make today are the only ones that matter!

Thanks for the positive comment :) Turning 30 made me realize a lot of things that I am not happy with in my life. So I am working on changing things. I plan I planing to move to Atlanta, GA here in the next couple years. Trying to pay off old debt and save money first. Gonna drop as much weight as I can.

Today was a good day. The sun was out, I went for a little walk. Had to work for a couple hours and came home and jumped on the treadmill for 30 min. Now am about to hit the shower and make dinner. I am waiting for my good friend to call me back, I plan on flying out to Atlanta to visit him at the end of summer.

This is my first 3 day weekend in a long time. I am getting ready to go visit my parents for the weekend. I usually eat pretty bad when I visit my parents but I got smart this time and cooked and packed up a bunch of meals which will keep me on track on my diet. The gym I go to is called Anytime Fitness and there is one in the town my parents live in so I can still go to the gym this weekend since my key card thing will work at any of the Anytime Fitness locations. Today is a great day, the sun is out! it warm out! i talked to my buddy in Atlanta and I am going to go visit him at the end of summer.

The weekend went pretty good, had some fun visiting my parents and I actually ate pretty clean when I was down there. I also went to the gym every night I was down there also. Since they have a Anytime Fitness there my member access key will work there. Last night I did cardio for over a hour. With the cardio theater I was watch a movie so I kept on running till it was over lol. Worked out my legs and walked back to my parents house. I am back at my place now, Its a nice day and I am going to go for a walk then hit up the gym again tonight when it cools down a bit. My arms are still a bit sore from Saturday but I am going to try and work them out with my back and shoulders. Happy Memorial Day everyone!

I was dragin pretty hard yesterday and really did not want to go to the gym. Finally around midnight I ended up dragging myself to the gym. But, I did feel a whole lot better afterwards. I stayed up real late but was able to sleep in so thats was nice. I got to go to work for a few but I when I get home I am going to hit up the treadmill for awhile. Probably not going to go to the gym tonight. I have to get up real early so I am going to just work out the best I can at home when I get off work. I will figure it out later. Its a nice day out I a, going to get out and walk to work.
 
Well done on keeping on track when you were visiting your parents!!!! And good for you pushing yourself to get to the gym, or do your treadmill if you can't make the gym!

Thanks! I am not going to gym today but its ok. I have gone the past 4 days straight. But I am off work now and working out a bit at home. I have a treadmill and 25# dumbells so I I can get a little bit of a work out in. I have to be at work at 6:00am tommarrow, yuck.

Went to the gym tonight, I did like a hour and a half of cardio and that wiped me out but I feel pretty good now. The weather has been amazing here but Tuesday its supposed to back to rain so I might go to the river tommarow and enjoy the sun. Woohoo!! I am also down to 315 lbs
