Well this is my first day on this forum. It was my birthday yesterday & thought it was time to kick my fat arse into shape. I have made numerous excuses over the last year not to do anything but I feel the time is right to crack on with it. My goal is to lose 4 stone which is only 56 lb, lol. I'd like to do this by june & then maintain the healthier me. My plan is clean food & exercise.

Right then now for the embarressing bit! I weigh a moosive 208 lb. Bloody hell this is the fatest I've ever been but will never be this heavy again!!
 
Hello Ruth ! And Happy Birthday!

It sounds like you have a fairly decent goal and have allowed enough time if you work hard toward your goal. I, too, weigh the most I ever have. And I weigh more than when I started a program and lost 60lbs. It's tough but we got ourselves here, we can get ourselves out!

Ruth, now that the first week is over... How do you feel?

I was down 4.8 lbs. Today would mark 1 week for me. While I am not reaching all of the goals I intended at the start of this journey due to a foot injury, I am still getting into the "healthy" mode I need to maintain this weight loss.

What are your struggles so far? For me, it is the invitations to go out to eat or drink. My friends try to make suggestions but drinking was a huge problem for me and I feel like if I give in it will become a problem again and set me back on my goals.
