rusty hip joints HELP!!

Hi everyone,

I have a very very big problem with my rusty hip joints

First of all, I'm an athletic 19 year old male who feels older than he should. Whenever I do a lot of running, jumping, or any drills such as high knees, that utilize my hip joints, they feel sore, rusty, and a little inflamed after exercise. At a fully recovered status, even after just one simple set on the ab crunching machine, I will feel the soreness on my hip joints

I always do my best to warm up and everything in order to prevent this type of injury, but at this age, I am getting injured very easily even though I'm doing my best to prevent it. I'm normally quite flexible, and I also stretch once a day.

If anyone could provide me with really good advice, please do, or if any one knows of any specific supplement that helps improve flexibility and strength of hip joints, please mention it.

Thanks

It sounds like you have very limited flexibility. Your first course of action is to foam roll your glutes, hip flexors, inner and outer thighs, hams and calves. Then stretch these areas and then do 5-10 minutes of like treadmill or other cardio for a warm up.

If you do all of these things before all of your workouts you will notice a big difference in your hip mobility.
