Ruptured splean, internal bleeding

Hey everyone I just got out of the hospital after recovering from a ruptured splean. I am 18 years old and the doctor told me not to be lifting weights for the next 2 months. I am extremely depressed and feel that I am going to lose all the hard earned muslce that I have gotten in the last year. Is there anything I can do? Will I lose it all? Will it be easy to put back on?

Thank you all very much

You wont lose all the muscle and it you will regain it a lot quicker then first getting it.
If i were you id be happy that the spleen operation was a success and even HAVE the opportunity to do weights in the future.

Like matt said, be happy that you'll be lifting in 2 months, sometimes people can't lift heavy for very very long time. And once you gain muscle, even if you lose some of it, the body is able to gain it back much faster once you start training again,
