Running Distance In Cutting Phaze

Not that I want to stop bulking up, just so I know how to when Im at my targetted build. Running is definately the best way to get fat %age down without a doubt. I know that the cardio duration needs to last 30min. What distance should I run? to the extent were I won't lose muscle mass. 1 Mile? 1/2 mile?
 
It isn't distance that matters but your diet. You can run for miles a day and not lose a pound if you eat a lot. I recommend you do an overview of your diet, and it'll be hard for you as you begin running to find how much you have to eat. I would keep lifting weights so you dont lose mass. Just use your common knowledge about lifting so you keep endurance and mass. I wouldn't worry about losing any mass from running. The most that will happen is you will lose weight, and you can always lift again after dropping the fat. The second time around you'll be able to see improvement better too. Good luck.
 
I take ur point, my current run im planning when i decide to tone, is about 1 mile run. From 1 side of fields next to my house to the other and back. Obviously Im gonna continue weight training and change my diet from high carb and high protein to low carbs and high protein. Rows will be including in the cardio with the running and probably situps, that will be enough I assume as I am naturally a mesomorph anyway, and burning fat wont be a prob.
 
Sounds good, here's one thing i found really cool. There's this fifty year old guy that swims at least two miles a day at the pool where i lifeguard. But he is very cut and still has maintained his mass. He told me he stopped lifting a couple of years ago, and lost some mass. Yet he has maintained his physique because he works out almost all of his muscles by swimming everyday. Not to mention his diet.
