Running... but gaining weight?

When I started xc this year, I thought I would be losing weight. I look like I got slimmer, but the scale says differently, and the scale also measures fat %, and it is still the same.

Most scales arent very good at measuring body fat. Do you way yourself at the same time? Most people will way about 5 pounds more at the end of the day (compared to the same morning).

Its also quite possible to gain weight while running and working-out, AND look better. Which would pretty much make that scale that measures body fat very wrong. :)
