running after workout

i know this has been brought up numerous times on here, but im just wondering if running right after lifting is really a big deal. ive heard you should space it out, but im already at the gym so its a perfect time to get my cardio in too...should i just keep doing what im doing?
 
If it's most convenient for you, then go ahead - it'd be even better if you get a protein shake in between too!
