Rowing in training

Ok guys,

I am lookig to bulk up a bit, i have recently lost quite a bit of fat through rowing each week, however, i am now looking to bulk up and focus on building muscle but i am worried about piling lard back on if i stop my rowing so how much should i do? Should i cut it down or just keep going?

Currently im doing 25mins perweek

Cheers

Alex P.S sorry if this thread is in the wrong area!

Rowing

Hello Alex,
You say in your post you are rowing 25 minutes a week, is that correct ? Are you rowing on a machine at the gym ? If you can answer these 2 questions, I think I can give you a bit of advice. Also, if you are worried about piling lard on, remember a clean diet has lots to do with how much fat is on your body.

hi,
its an at home rower, its approx 20 mins per week once a week that i do.
I did used to eat a lot of rubbish that i have now cut down on.

Well if you wanna bulk up and gain muscle, you need to incorporate weight training into your program. You could use your row machine two to three times a week for 20 minutes also.

Yah there's no problem with doing cardio 3 times a week at 20-30 minutes.
