ROUGH Journey to a BEAUTIFUL end

I woke up this morning to the scale hovering 194.0 to 195.5, but settling at 195.0! I didn't even make it to the gym yesterday, but I all I ate was the that large buffet meal and that's it. I don't want to burn out my metabolism!

I will go to the gym tonight since I didn't go yesterday, I really need to reverse all this cortisol damage!!

This morning, I ate a bit of bbq chicken sandwich, 3 chinese dimsum, 4 shrimp, and some chow fun, also a cup of steamed broccoli. I wanted to keep eating, like the untouched fresh shrimp spring rolls, but i'll wait to consume those! Maybe after a gym workout? I hope! lol!

Tonight i'm going to stretch a lot before I exercise..I'd like to do 30min on the treadmill and some cycling too. I need to do some upper body training!
 
This afternoon, I ate 1/2 a bbq pork sandwich, two pieces of chinese dimsum, mushrooms, and two hardboiled eggs. I was so full!! I feel pretty guilty! I even took a little nap after it...I highly doubt I will weigh myself tomorrow.

BUT I DID GO TO THE GYM. At this time, I really need the gym time just to focus on something and to relief the stress of the robbery. I don't want to lose the momentum until we catch the robber and get my computer and camera back!!! Anyways...

I did 23 AWESOME minutes on the treadmill. I felt so strong!!! I did like 1.7miles, which is huge for me! I was really sweaty! I think I could've went stronger and harder, but baby steps! I can't wait to get a treadmill tomorrow!! Afterwards, I did 7 minutes on the elliptical climber. I felt super sweaty so I went home.

How do you work out on weight training machines when you are dripping see-through sweat? It's bad gym etiquette to swish your sweat all over the place...I REALLY need to do some weight training, I LOVE LIFTING, but how when you're dripping??? I do bring a towel with me, but still...

Tomorrow's schedule looks something like this
9-3: student teaching
4-630: class
630-8: gym
9: get a drink with a friend
 
HEY Y'ALL!!

Yesterday was just a mentally horrible day. Gosh! I ate jack in the box breakfast combo meal, 1 bbq pork sandwich, 1 cheese and jalapeno bagel w/ light cream cheese, 1 banana....Horrible, sooooooooooo many carbs!

Today wasn't any better. I ate seafood linguini, bread at the italian restaurant, and a nice size red velvet cake slice, although I didn't finish the frosting at all.

I did go to Bikram Yoga today and sweat a whole tube of fluid to weigh 197.0 at NIGHT. I will eat an orange before going to bed to "refuel"

tomorrow is a new day and my life is getting better! I will eat better! I think I will go to the gym tomorrow morningl! I am excited to run on the treadmill!!! If I don't go tomorrow morning, I will go tomorrow evening.

So, today, i didn't eat much, so i didn't go the gym.

I ate
6 strawberries
1 orange
1/8 whole wheat low carb cheese quesadilla

I did drink like 3 cups of water to keep me going. I was running all over the place. I weighed 195.4lb tonight! But I am sure my metabolism is at a standstill right now because of the lack of food, so I just *hope* to see 193 tomorrow morning!

I DO plan on exercising tomorrow!!! I am thinking the gym OR yoga. or BOTH?!
 
Today, I woke up at 194.2lb and came home after the gym at 194.2lb.

This morning, I ate some rice, 8oz of beef, 2 fried eggs, some anchovies, and some sharp cheddar.

For lunch at 1PM, i had 4oz chicken breast and 1 trip to the salad bar which included a veggie taco.

I went to the gym tonight. It was crazy good! I did 32 minutes on the treadmill for 2.35miles and it was solid good. I also stretched my legs out!

Tomorrow, I'm going out to happy hour, a gym is POSSIBLE, if i PLAN for it!

up to 35 minutes! I'll run on Saturday again. Tonight, I am going to dinner with an old friend/ex-boyfriend and then a late night happy hour with my girlfriends! I am super excited! Maybe I can do a late night gym session, I will probably do some light cardio, like cycling or elliptical, and a lot of weight lifting. I miss lifting weights!!

This morning I was only .4 pounds down from yesterday night. At least I am still down! I want to lose 10 pounds in 14 days, so I only have TWO more weigh ins to lose almost 3 pounds...uh oh!!

NOTE: My shoes and clothes weigh 2.2-2.6lbs

Saturday morning- Yoga, night- running
 
Woah great progress seriously! I think your doing fantastic but I hope your not planning to lose 5lbs a week that cant be safe surely? I know the first few weeks are the fastest and I'm excited to see my own results! Your gym sesh sounds fun I'm a little too intimidated myself >< GOOD LUCK!

Girl, I TOTALLY don't expect to lose weight 5 pounds EACH WEEK. I just expect it for these first two weeks!! I want a HUGE water WHOOSH RIGHT NOW!

Today I ate one korean sushi roll (beef, egg, veggies, and rice wrapped in seaweed). Then, I went to Panda Express for lunch at 130PM, I had mixed veggies with fire roasted chicken breast (which was the WRONG healthy choice!), and 3 cream cheese wraps...i thought I was getting the right chicken entree! Breaded chicken breast didn't look right! The cream cheese wraps were SO good though!!

I did drink a lot of water today, about 7 cups so far. We will see how the rest of the night goes cause of late night happy hour and a MAYBE late night workout.
 
So I cancelled my dinner with my old friend and instead my girls wanted to go out to the city.

So, we went and at the dance club, it is a restaurant before it turns into a full out dance floor, so we went there and ordered an appetizer platter to share. On the plate were edamame, chicken wings, cream cheese wontons, and ribs. I had one of each. Then I had 1 AMF and 1 house cocktail signature drink.

I drank plenty of water, had some extra fun dancing and what not, and I weighed myself at 195.4 before my shower.

So before I left with my girlfriends, I was 195.4. When I got back from my whole night, I was 195.4.

It's 4:30AM and I need some sleep. Tomorrow will have to be near perfect.
 
So right after I wrote how tomorrow has to be perfect, I went downstairs and ate some chinese food! At 5AM, I had rice, veggies, ginger chicken, steamed veggies, amounting to 1 cup. I also drank a nice tall glass of water because I was so thirsty!

I need to drink a lot of water today! all that alcohol, saltiness from chinese food,

I woke up at 10am, not hungover, ate two cups of chinese food with more veggies than anything, took the biggest #2 since i've ever started on february 28th, felt soooo good.

I don't think it was an unhealthy chinese meal because there is nothing fried and it is all veggies, chicken, and brown rice. The sauces make it really unhealthy!

I am so looking forward to my run tonight, the one that i, oh so neatly outlined a few posts above.

I am going to go see my grandma today and probably my cousins too!
 
So yesterday, for lunch I had sizzler, where I ate 3 tacos and chicken breast and veggies. Then for dinner I had lettuce and beef and rice.

I felt so full. I ate like I did before I cared!!!!! Crazy!!! But then I went to the gym and did 50 minutes on the treadmill! Did 3.5 miles! Good stuff my body is so sore!

Today I woke up slightly bloated but completely with a sore body. For breakfast I had ramen, then for lunch I had rice beef egg carrot stirfry and a small papaya! For a snack I had a low Carb wheat tortilla with some Cheddar cheese.

Went to the gym and did 27 minutes on the treadmill.my gut kept pulling on the story cord so it was condtant stop and go.

I need to get my eating under control
I don't feel skinny.
 
So i woke up monday morning at 198.0!! WHAT THE HECK RIGHT?!?! I was so mad I gained 4 pounds over the weekend, that's what I get! HAH i wanted to lose 10 pounds in 14 days, stupid me, with my stupid ambition, and my lack of ability to do anything when i want it done.

Yesterday was full of crap. I did great in the morning until I started driving and figured I needed some fuel because I wouldn't be able to wait 4 hours for dinner. So i had a shitload of jack in the box, then tempura and sashimi at a japanese restaurant, and no gym.

with the weekend weight gain and yesteerday's stuff feast, and no gym, i feel like back at square one.

bloated, with a double chin, and ugly. and so unfit. square effing one. too bad i don't LOOK as bad as i feel.

Today, i of course didn't weigh myself, but I did eat a little bit of brown rice, carrots, a slice of spam, and broccoli for breakfast.

I definitely don't want to eat a lot today. I will probably get some fruit in my system, it'd be nice to go yoga today, to do a quick detox.
 
I had 30 minutes to kill, so i ended up eating some chinese food! EUGH, right? Fried chicken, chow mein, fried rice, egg roll. bad bad bad.

There is no good news today. No gym, no yoga. I had to work so much today, eugh.

Tomorrow, I plan on doing a solid run! I hope to do 3 miles in 40 minutes?!!

Thursday, I really need to go to the gym, if only work doesn't get in my way!!

I need to get my food intake under control, I hope so tomorrow. I WILL tomorrow.

Tomorrow is a new day and time is wasting away....

wow, it's been awhile!!! TWO DAYS?!?
Yesterday, was all bad, Mcdonalds for breakfast, slice of pizza for lunch, and then ravioli for dinner. The good news is that I went to the gym and power walked for 20 minutes and did some major stretching.

Today, was too bad, but not all bad. I had two breakfast burritos made out of egg, cheese, and turkey. Then for lunch I had some jack in the box and didn't eat since. Well i did have one section of mango, and then went to the gym. The gym was so packed, so i did 10 minutes of cycling, 10 minutes of interval elliptical, and then 15 minutes of power walking and jogging on the treadmill.

I weighed in this morning at 197.4, that's not so bad with a slice of pizza...but gosh, i need to be losing!!
 
it is the 18th of march, and i weighed in this morning at 195.0! WOO, so close to 193.8, i seriously can't wait to keep losing!!

it's like i'm losing weight if i have a good appetite and a workout. Basically, if i enjoy the food i'm eating, i lose weight! my body and mind are so connected!!

i'm going out with a friend to go shopping, so i won't go to the gym today or tomorrow. I work from 10am-930pm, and mostly on my feet, so that'll be a nice steady workout.

this morning i ate a turkey wrap with pesto, and some ravioli with pesto, and some fresh pineapple!

So, today i have to work 4 hours, then go to dinner
tomorrow, i have to tutor for 3 hours, then work for 6 hours
sunday, i have to write a 2-3 page paper and then go on a sunset cruise on the bay.

there is a huge storm brewing, so i wanted to go shopping tonight, but i don't think that's going to happen! =( the roads are too crazy to go anywhere far!

it's been many days, but I am still here folks! i went to the wedding and came back fuller than ever! eugh!

I weighed in this morning at 200.6lb! Can you believe that?!

I ate a LOT for dinner, whole wheat pasta, and cheeses...eugh! I feel like shit about myself.
 
Awww Hun your really finding this rough huh.

I think you went in two strong at the beginning!!

I think you need to start again now, lower your calorie intake by 500 per day from your bmr, rather than going crazy and stick to it. If u diet too much or remove everything from your diet you will just end up craving food.

Also do not set quick targets! Set mini targets at intervals, making the intervalslonger as time goes on.
