I still have love for Ronnie though.
jpfitness said:Those guys aren't admirable. Just because they are narcissistic, obsessive and extreme to a perverted level doesn't make them awesome in any way. What they do to their bodies isn't much different than the performance artist who mutilates himself. There is nothing healthy about those guys. I would pity them if I weren't so disappointed that they are somehow regarded as paragons of health. Quite comical if you ask me! Marcus Ruhl looks fvcking ridiculous!
I've met Coleman in person when he was off season. He was over 300 pounds, and he looked like a water buffalo, barely moving, sitting in the shade. His "it"-friend (resembled a 230 pound, ripped and muscular man with a bad boob job) was pretty similar in build. I would bet that she has a bigger willey than most men!
Abear, you make a good point. Surprising to see him deadlifting, although his form isn't all that great. Plus he wears a belt. So 80's!![]()
No offense taken whatsoever. I don't really hate them though. I pity them. They are so pathetic, and they don't realize that they no longer even look human. I wonder what event in their lives skewed their reality enough for them to not recognise how ridiculous they look. Most of them are in a dead pool, and won't survive to 50. Almost all of them have high blood pressure and sexual problems. They also have "GH Gut" and a large heart because the drugs make both their skeletal muscle and their cardiac and gastro-intestinal muscles grow. As Abear said, it has nothing to do with hard work. It is drugs and genetics, and I am not impressed.liecheatsteal said:first off man, i mean no offense to you or your response in any way. but cmon you can hate on those guys all you want but they are doing what they love, aswell as kicking a$$ and taking names. they work hard for a body like that. personally i would not want to get that big but its their deal. IMO they are awesome and you gotta give somre recognition to the effort. besides without guys like that around alot of people wouldnt have given weight-training a second look.
Wait, so you mean, he uses drugs?jpfitness said:It is drugs and genetics, and I am not impressed.
