Rolling back the clock

Oooppppps ok it's been almost a week since I posted here.

Last few days have been crap. I've been unable to exercise this week as away etc. But at least I really wanted to etc so not too worried.

I'm going to double session this morning so that will help.

But diet wise I am struggling. When you are with other people and your out it is so dam hard to do. I refuse to prevent other people from eating where they want because of me, I feel like I am being boring and ruining things if I kick up a fuss about what I have etc.

I am eating out for the next three nights as well as one lunch- urgh!!

Problem is at the dinners I know they will have a go at me for being boring if I don't have all 3 courses. It does my head in that other people cannot be supportive.

I have put on one pound but as only in the last few days should just be water weight so I
am hoping I can get it back off somehow....

I am home for two weeks so I have loads of exercise planned, so I just need to smash though these food issues.

I've been eating out a lot recently--It's hard :( Usually I get away with it by saying that I had a huge lunch so I only want a snacky meal for dinner. Don't stress about it too much hun xx
 
Don't feel pressure to eat more than what to want. I've found that being firm straight away tends to keep people off my back, I say 'no i'm healthy eating, I don't want to ruin that' and they say 'go on' I say 'no'. Be firm and don't give in!

I haven't had a chance to check in with your diary lately, sorry! But i'm trying to catch up now, fantastic news on breaking through the plateau! It's always a nice feeling seeing that scale go down after a tonne of frustration!

You're doing great, keep it up!! :)
 
So I haven't put on any more weight despite all my meals out etc since a few days ago, so I am still just 1 pound up. Which I am happy with.

Today is the last day I have something I can't avoid and then I really just need to try to get the weight down again.

I don't think I have any chance of making my end of April target but any weight loss is worth it!
 
Great news on not putting weight on! Don't worry about that extra pound, that'll go off again in no time! I'm not going to meet my goal for the end of April either, you're not alone!
 
Woohooo ok I am down 2 pounds so one I put on and one I lost. So now -23 pounds!! I am 3 pounds off my 170 target for end of April.

More importantly I finally started losing weight off my hips! I have lost one inch from my hips in the last 2 weeks!!! OMG!

Total loss in 3.5 months:

waist 37 - 31 (6 inch)
chest 44.5 - 37.5 (7 inch)
hips 42 - 47.5 (5.5 inch)
arm/bicep 13.5 - 12.5 (1 inch) - I think I now have more muscle there hence little loss
thigh 25.5 -23 (2.5 inch)

looks good when you look at it like that! :)

Well done on the 2lb down! I'm super jealous at minus 23lb!! Keep up the good buddy, its great that you're seeing results!!
 
Yep, only one day - and you are not going to let that Lindt bunny be a regular in your home.

Hopefully you hopped off the extra cals. :)
 
Haha yes I did!!!

Overdid the weight work, by bum and thighs HURT from the squats!!!! I also have an achey back and biceps. 40 hours since I did the workout.

36 hours till the next lot!

Not sure what my weight is doing, I'm up 1 pound again, but prob just due to what I had at weekend!

Charlie - we must share the same scale - as I was up a lb on Tues as well.

Just keep working out and watching your food - the weight will come off - and you'll feel better and better working out with weights.
 
Yeah everytime I do weight I put on a pound for about 48 hours!

Did weights last night so I am still up that 1 pound, but as I havenow worked out what it is I will ignore it!!

Anyway the many meals out etc are now over with and I have a week of normality!! Then me and my hubby go on holiday for a week, and I will need to be very careful!! As long as I have only one meal out/ bad a day should be ok....

Hey Justina - Yep costa de sol, can't wait.

I lost another pound yiiippppppee!! That's 24 down now, four pounds to go till the 2 stone mark!! Loving the fact my BMI is 24.7 and I am no longer overweight according to that scale!

My body fat % is still truly frightening though. I don't understand why when I can see the muscles I have gained etc they can still say 29% - it moves so slowly!! It did start at 2 jan on 32.7, so I guess I just need to be more patient!!

Going to be v good this week and try really hard to get some more off! X
