Keep aiming for that 1kg/week; you may suffer a little in the process but wallow in the bitterness of it for the last couple of weeks. You are at the home stretch of your allotted time, so do your best. Good luck and keep us posted. Have fun at the parties and try to make the healthy choices before indulging in the indulgent stuff. (You'll be half full of healthy stuff, so the amount of indulgence will be less while at the same time satisfying, hopefully.)
