Ok - back to situation normal (I'm not sure what that means around here though) :rotflmao: I did NOT eat any pizza today! I ate my nice healthy lunch and ridiculed my co-workers instead. "Hey ya know you just had enough sodium to last you the rest of the week?" ; "How ya feeling Bill, I bet you feel like shit don't you? Well you should" Stuff like that.

Today was
Insane Cardio Day at the gym. I rode 33 miles on the bike in 80 minutes, that's an average speed of over 24 mph!!! I felt great, I felt like I could go on forever! When I got done....I felt like I had forgotten how to walk!

Calories Burned: Shitload (that's a technical term)

I fixed myself one of my soon to be famous Chicken Cheese Steak Quesadillas for dinner - Super Yummy! My oldest daughter wanted me to fix her one of my special pizzas so I fixed that for her at the same time. Sometimes I feel like a short order cook - I enjoy cooking though so it's cool.

Gotta get the girls in the bath and then to bed. I'll check in on all of your diaries later tonight.

I'm proud of you for resisting the pizza! I really like quesadillas...but there is so much fat in that much cheese, that I try to stay away from them.

I will post the recipe tonight. It is very low fat and only has about 250 calories depending on what kind of cheese you use.

Only Tuesday?!?! - There's your problem right there. You see we have already successfully made it through Monday so the rest of the week is down hill! It's only 3 more days until Friday!!!:)

I made it to the gym yesterday:

5.5 miles on the bike (15 min warm-up)
chest presses 3x12
shoulder presses 3x12
chest flys 3x12
bicep curls 3x12

I was able to increase my weights on most of my lifts so it seems to be working.

I crashed early last night so I missed the usual frolicking that happens when the sun goes down:rotflmao:

Great job Griff! It sounds like you are coming along nicely with your health plans. BUt I see one HUGE problem with what you are doing.

I guess it depends on alot of things...I however dont think it is that important - lol and sometimes it isnt always a great outcome...mind you it is fun to have fun once in awhile but id prefer that fun to be in person...LOL

I feel for you! I've been battling that at my office all damn week--cookies, doughnuts, cupcakes, chocolates..and then there's all the crap at home. Just remember--being slim and fit feels much better than any junk food ever could:jump: .

Oh, and I completely agree with you about the frolicking--very importand and oh so much fun...:rotflmao: But Cerella is right--it's much more fun to frolick in person. Oh well...:cool:
 
I just wanted to stop by and say that you are doing a awesome job. It is amazing what kids can do to change your life. Thank you for posting those reciepies, I have been looking for different things to try and those looked really good. Congrats on the weight loss and I wish you continued success. Have a great day!
