That sounds tough - and it sounds like you're going to have to confront that problem head-on if you do need surgery. Maybe more meditation can help?

Rob, do you try meditating leading up to bedtime? I couldn't function with as little sleep as you get. Can you reduce the dosage of the Melatonin to see if that has you less groggy the next day? I think you have done very well so far. I just went back & read all of your diary. I wish I could go off all of my meds. Do you have your BP etc tested regularly?

That's a good thing at least. I think I would try meditating in bed if I woke in the early hours and couldn't get back to sleep. Sometimes I get out of bed & do some Xi Gong.I'm in bed resting usually for 8-10 hours
