Sorry I haven't been on the since Monday! Tuesday I went over my calories, but it wasn't too bad, I didn't go over maintenance but went over my goals by 500 something. We went to the theater and saw Interstellar and it was good! So of course we brought snacks and whatnot. I didn't exercise that night because we got home past midnight!!!! lol
Hana - I am going by what MFP tells me to, lol. Basically I set my MFP to my current weight, etc. I put I wanted to lose 2 lbs a week. I also put my lifestyle as sedentary as I have a desk job. And even though I have kids, I still sit on my butt a lot! Any how, so I set it to sedentary so that when I exercise, I use my HRM and have a more accurate reading of what calories I burn and enter that into MFP, then so I don't go below the calorie goal I get those calories extra to eat. I did it this way because I may not exercise every day, so I don't want to be eating calories for if I'm active according to MFP and I'm not... ya know?
So, with all that, my goal from MFP is 1200 calories, and then if I burn any from exercise then I make sure I eat more on those days because I don't want to dip below 1100 for sure.
For Tuesday, since my goal is 1200 and I went over by 500 something, it ended up being 1700 something total, which isn't too bad for going over. It's just under maintenance I think. I have to calculate my BMR and everything all over again to see what that is.
Overview so far:
- Monday: Stayed within my calorie goals and went on the treadmill (rolling hills, lvl 2, 39 mins)
- Tuesday: Went 500 over calorie goals and no exercise
- Wednesday: Stayed within my calorie goals and did 30 mins of DDR (man I can't do it like I used to, but I will get better!)
- Thursday: So far, calories are looking good. Planning on doing DDR again tonight.
