ribs problem?

i have been hitting the gym for 2 weeks solid now got my diet and routine sorted out, im not doing cardio as im quite skinny already.

my ribs are showing up on my body and its really frustrating me , what can i do to add a bit of weight there? simply eat more or are there any exercises i can do too add muscle there

Pretty sure if you eat and lift that this problem will resolve itself.
 
cheers also though , i have like a bit of puppy fat around my pecks and stomach , but i dont wana run cause im quite light as it is , can i turn these parts into muscle / tone them up without doing cardio?
 
Don't laugh but I recommend getting on the Stair Master. It will literally burn your fat like butter.

Or you can just keep weight lifting which is the best cure in my opinion. More muscle = more fat used to maintain the muscle plus the benefit of working out in general uses calories.
