Rhuematoid Arthritis and building muscle??

My wonderful wife has had Rhuematoid Arthritis since she was 13 years old. She is now 36 and is interested in triing to preserve and build what muscle she has. We own the Bow flex pro system and I feel this would be the best machine for her to work with. Is there any advise you may have on certain exercises. He flexability is limited and she gets disgusted with diets that seem to take for ever for her to lose wieght. We both believe that building a little muscle would increase her metabolism and help increase her wieght loss goals. Her goal is 20-30 pounds of wieght. But more importantly gain some muscle. I appriciate any advice for us. Thanks you, Ron & Dana

Hi Ron & Dana. I don't know much about Bow Flex system but i do suggest you look into vibration training. A good place to start is I use these machines regularly and they are great for people in your situation, just have a look at the web site go to the research page and scientific support page for more information on how it can benefit you.

I Hope this helps

Help training the trainer re vibration training

Hi Craig,
Can you help me find any kind of training program (in a book, a CD, a video, or online) for our personal trainer to learn how to design programs for using the vibration machine? Any help would be appreciated.
