Hey guys - it's been so busy today I've been swamped off my feet! Thank goodness it's Friday. It's great to see my poor diary hasn't been left alone - you guys...
Hey Kim, I think you're right. It's not the first time I'm doing squats but this pain is whoa! It's 2 days later and I'm still feeling sore... I really wish I could indulge in a hot soak, but there's just so little time.. But I'm thinking I need to maybe pamper myself more (currently my idea of chilling out is the hot shower after a workout!) I do drink water during my workouts - I usually down a 500cl bottle of water during a cardio session. I'm just scared of drinking too much in case I get cramp or something. How much water is enough? And yes, I am seeing inches lost - halleluyah! They shall not return!!
Hey Christina, I'm real happy you're all nice and healed. I don't think you've been slacking at all - you've been walking and recovering, which is vital to your weight loss! You've even managed to break your plateau! You should be proud of yourself - I'm certainly proud of you! And all you need is one single gym session, and you'll be back into the swing of things, I'm sure..
Hey Sara, I'm definitely feeling a lot better, but I'm still not racing back to the gym. I decided to stop with the lemon and ginger and take some 'proper' medicine, so I went to Boots and got me some Day Nurse and Night Nurse. The night one totally knocked me out, which was great, because lord knows my body needed the rest. Rest is definitely vital to weight loss, so I'll try not to take that for granted again (there just seem to be so little time to do things in..) The weather's fantastic in London today - the nice kind of 'hot' - not the stifling heat that sucks all the oxygen and leaves you gasping for air...nah, the real nice one in which lovers stroll hand in hand and fall in love in the park...Oh stop fantasising, it's London! It could well be snowing tomorrow! Or at least raining heavily. I can't wait for my next weigh-in: I'm SO sure I'll have good news..
Hey cshani, it's great to have you back! You remembered about my 10K - that's so sweet. Thanks! If bike riding helps with slim thighs, then heck, that's going to be a bigger part of my workout. I'm not sure why I've never made the connection before - this forum opens your eyes to so many new things - it's great!
Thanks Juliette, it's definitely strange to learn to breathe online! But I DO get what you're saying - I just need to let things flow more naturally. As Kim said, I'll breathe through my nose with my mouth partway open maybe, but I'll definitely try to control my breathing a lot better. I won't be training before the 10K so I won't get a chance to try it out before my next training session (hopefully on Monday). When I do, I'll let you know how it turned out.
Thanks for all the good wishes guys. I'm leaving the office now (but will be back in a bit when I get home). Ciao.

Think about what you accomplished yesterday, you completed a seriously impressive goal. I'm hoping you feel better soon.
