Resting time

Hi guys,

i am doing mass and strength excercise, i usually do 8 excercises 3 sets each for 2 muscle parts per day. I am resting 1 minute between set, but how long should i rest between excercise?? is 1 minute btw set ok??
 
4 exercises per muscle group is way too much.

I only do 2 exercises per muscle group, One will be a basic compound, say pull up, and the other will be a variation, like a close grip lat pull down.

You can maybe get away with an isolation on top of that but 4 is deffinatly too much.
