rest time

i've heard that you need to give your body rest time to let your muscles heal.. what would be a good amount of time till you get back to working out? what i usually do is lift one day, anddo cardio the other (go at the punching bag)...and then i dont workout sat. and sunday...is that right or do i need to change that?

a more thorough analysis of your workout schedule please :D

on days i lift....i do benching or lat pull downs, and then curls, followed by crunches....and on days i do cardio i just go at the punching bag for 45 mins. so its one day i lift, next day i do cardio...cause i heard its not good to lift every day.

No, it's not good to lift everyday, but it's good to have a well drawn out program and plan. You're workout seems vague and uneven.

I'd recommend you pick up "New Rules of Lifting" or get a pre-made by Chad Waterbury on T-nation or "Homegrown Muscle." You'll do a lot better.

you should rest between 8-10 hours in the night, and 1 free day... i take 2 free days:D and eat whatever i what... it seems it work for me..:)
