Hey guys
Ive been using this forum for about a month now, and i abserloutly love it, ive learnt so much, especially from certain individuals, who take so much time in helping and putting together extremely help full posts, thanks for that guys!
But im afraid i have another question, *raises hand* sorry
Basicly, i saw a post earlir by chillen basicly saying, your not working out if you dont feel the pain, but he used harsher words
Well, ive just in the past week started a heavy gainer routine, one i created myself (i feel i have enough knowledge to do this), but, i did it for the first time on friday, and i must say, i didnt really feel the burn, i used heavy weights and did 4 sets of 4 reps, i plan to up these to 6 now, but by the end of my exercises, e.g. the bench press. I felt that i could do another set!
So basicly my question is as follows:
If i feel my first set of weights was challenging, but not so much that i couldnt do it again straight after, for the next set, should i pile on weight, so that i can only just achieve say, one under my reps for that set, but try the last? Beceause that, i believe, is truly pushing your body to adapt to be able to lift that last weight for the next time you hit the gym, so is this correct?
Thanks in advance guys ( i always put this
)
