Renewing my sense of worth. Again.

Great to see you're still sticking with it. And still doing those mega gym sessions (some of the time). Given the effort you put in when you do get to the gym there's no harm taking the odd break when time is tight, especially now you know you have the determination to tough it out when others might cry enough. Maybe you could build in a twenty minute walk to the shops into your routine, rather than use a car, when you can't get to the gym. Or something of that nature. If you buy enough stuff it could double up as a weight training session on the way home. I'll have to read back a bit further when I get time to catch up on this going-back-to-school business. I'm twenty years out of the education system and I still have nightmares about walking into an exam unprepared. Best of luck to you, hope it all goes well.

Gym sessions (some of the time), TOOOOO true!! Since I've started school I have, embarrassingly enough, NOT made it there ONCE. I don't know how other people are so amazing at retaining info: school work for me is the devil. My brains a sieve; I'll study for hours, do tons of homework, and the next day its completely gone. Dumb. Luckily, when I'm at school I get a bit of exercise in- sooo much walking, I think thats the only reason I've not gained a buncha weight back. uggh.
Thanks for checkin on me :)

PLEASE god, no more homework! lol. Thats not entirely true- I kinda like the medical terminology, and the math I can deal with, even tho I HATE math, but its the stupid Anatomy and Physiology thats just KILLING me! They have you start out at the beginner level of the stuff, but I swear to god, this is rediculous. Like I said in my reply to Splodge: I don't retain it! Cells and cell parts and muscle tissue shapes and sizes and colors... ugggh. And on top of that: I have a test in it tomorrow. What am I doing?? NOT studying... I'll get to it in a minute lol.
Alright, so this weekend I was HORRIBLE with my food. My sisters(one who I live with) both went home for the weekend, so it was just me at the house, and I made a pizza, which I ate all gone in 2 days, had nachos, and ice cream. NOT good. not good at alllll. Friday should be a bigger paycheck- need to buy loads of healthy stuff and just retrain myself. AGAIN. Can't let this junk food get the best of me
Ok. Off to study FINALLY. :(

Aww I feel for you - actually I feel for anyone who has homework and tests and essays and things like that. After 5 years of university I never want to read another text book in my life! I really understand how you feel but just remember all the hard work you had to do to loose those 10 pounds and how easy it could be to gain it all back and then where will you be? Just make sure if you aren't able to get to the gym to keep your eating under control because you can still loose weight that way. Also make sure you get lots of water!! Even if you set aside 20 minutes to do a workout at home it will give you so much more energy to concentrate on your studies. I think planning a schedule would be a great idea so make sure you do that! Take care - I feel your pain but I know you can push through it!

Wow, a college kid!

Congrats on going back to school! Balancing AND school, I'm impressed. What are you studying?

Glad to see you're still actively on your weight loss journey. I'm sure it's not easy with school. Don't be so hard on yourself when there are bad days. The goal is not to have sooooo many bad days in a row that you totally check out (like I did).

I'm back, and ready to work. Y'all are exactly the motivation I need. :)

lol, after a MONTH of school I don't wanna go back! Aaaack. Its ok. I'm getting better at balancing it out... Today is a day off; spending it doing homework, then some cleaning, then some gym, and then *eek* out with some friends. On the good side there- I'm so broke I can't afford to drink much, lmao!

Thanks! :) I'm not gonna lie, its been a little rough the last few weeks... lost lots of gym time, haven't been eating the best, etc; but I'm still goin :) Right about now I could use some of my OWN motivation :( its so frustrating to think that I'm mad that this is such a process, but why wasn't I mad while I was EATING my way to this weight?? One of those eternal questions, I guess... thanks for stoppin by :) its sooo nice to see people check on ya once in a while, ESPECIALLY when you've been a little absent. uggh. Back to it!!

Still studying, still eating (semi) right; still trying to get some calories burned. At least I'm STILL trying! I wanna lose 25lbs by Christmas. Not a stretch at all. I'll hafta start bringing notes with me to the gym, read em while I work out. I tried doing that with an actual textbook: NOT happenin, lol!! I had wanted to take Summer '11 courses, just to sorta get ahead of the game, but I can tell ya RIGHT NOW, that aint happening at ALL. Years ago while going to college I had 2 jobs, and went to school full time... Now I work 1 job full time and go to school part time, and my brain can't wrap around things! REDIC!! So yeah, I'll be needing summer as 'me' time fershur  lol
Alright; back to homework. A beauuuutiful Saturday off, and I'm inside cleaning and studying.. wooh.

have a good one everybody!

Oii... page 7. EESH! I've been MIA for a while; and its been meh. NOT good. Haven't been to the gym in a few weeks and have been eating like crap. Its so HARD to get the gym lately :( I know, I know. I'm just making excuses for myself, which is stupid... but damn! It seems like I work late every night, get off work in time to study for the next days test at school, and then get a max of 4-5 hours of sleep. I wish I was rich so I didn't have to work full time :( I was even looking into getting a 2nd job for a bit, buuuut I'm a thinkin' I'll put that on the back burner for a while, lol! I have tomorrow off(after school, of course) and I'll be spending the day doing homework, but am proud/happy to say that I will be going to the gym tomorrow night with a friend who has ALSO taken a little too much time off. Have started realllly counting cals again; its amazing to me how I don't even realize when I STOP counting, I just seem to taper it off a bit... annoyyyying!
I'm still hovering at the same weight, which is amazing to me, but its not good enough! I've still got the goals I set a few months ago; I'll just hafta push em as hard as I can with all the stuff I've got going on...
On the money bit of it, which is generally what stresses me the most- my car should be completely paid off by April/May, which still seems SO far away, but its sooo close! As soon as the car is paid off I can start putting that extra $360/month towards the credit card and then I'll be debt free. Ahhh, how sweet the sound! Also- don't think I'll ever buy a brand new car again. Uggh. I LOVELVOELOVE my car, but ouch. All that money... eek...
ANyway, hope everyone is doing wonderfully! When I was trying to find my diary I saw lots of new names, and still quite a few of the oldies I know :) Tomorrow between homework assignments I'll jump on and check everyone out!

Hi Jess! I know what you mean about the difficulties of making it to the gym. I am going to try to make a schedule for myself. I need discipline! More sleep would be nice too.

Jess....Im back....When you coming back? Hope your skinny by now but if you do what I did when I was working on my doctorate then you are in trouble! Lets just say I was named Mr. Drive thru fast food window 2008.

Jess, Im back. one hundreds pounds gained back ugh, but I am on the move, hope you are too, but your not here, which usually means we slid. I hope you check in Jess.. I have a new diary. I figure this is a new me, we reinvent ourselves, its my time... I hope you give an update, later gater ...

your friend
