Luckily this time only she was sick...my son didnt get it. Actually im ok with everyone being sick....cause ill take care of them, but if im sick nobody takes care of me and i still have to be the mom and wife!!LOL
So today was not so good. I had a birthday party to go to. I planned ahead and ate just a Luna bar for breakfast. Got there and made a big salad which was very healthy. Had 2 breaded mushrooms, 1 bite of a cheese stick, and CAKE!!!:( I at the whole slice....and it was excellent....worth every bite!!lol My sister said it wasnt anything special but i guess since i havent had junk food in so long to me it was like gold....lol Then for dinner my dadmade homemade pizza. He doesnt use oil and stuff so i feel much better about that...i had like 2 slices and tonight a bag of mini popcorn. Also i ate like 4 or 5 figs...im addicted to figs...if i have them i eat them.lol so feeling super guilty today....hopefully tommorow is better.

don't feel bad. I did the same thing this weekend. I went to the in laws this weekend and I couldn't make it in time to the grocery store to pick up fruits, so I ended up having to settle with what was there. And yes, I ate a piece of cake... and it was scrumptious. haha So you ate cake and you ate pizza...? No problem. Look at it this way, you could have eaten half of the cake and half of the pizza, instead you ate in moderations. You're doing GREAT, so there's no need for guilt. You're going to the gym. You're working up to be healthy. One slip isn't a problem at all. Oh and as for figs... Ooooooh, I love them too!!! But damn.. they're a bit pricey. And Lord do they make you... ummm well... "move," if you know what I'm saying. hahaaa! Gotta love fiber!

Sheryl is right there's no need to fret over what you ate ... you could have eaten much more... you ate what was there and you controlled your portions:)
 
ok so i just posted and my post was lost!!!! Anyways big milestone today....5 miles on the elliptical in 44 minutes!!! Ate pretty well all day and am happy with myself
If i dont lose a pound this week the scales getting thrown out a window!!!LOL
Gym everyday this week is a must.

thought I'd drop by and check out your diary. Wow, your busy life makes me feel like a slacker...lol I guess I should enjoy it while I can, b/c once the babies come it's all over..lol

Keep up the good work with the exercising. And if you want to come and clean my house, you're more than welcome to..haha

thanx guys for the support. Feeling very positive today. I went to the gym and only did 30 minutes on the elliptical(3.5 miles) but i felt awesome. I then went shopping and found a skirt.....SIZE 16!!!!!!! IT FIT!!! I almost fell over in the dressing room and had to double check that the size was right!!lolol so i bought it and went home with a smile:)
Todays menu:
Breakfast-1 banana on 4 wasa crackers with peanut butter
Lunch-bowl of cinnamon toast crunch cereal(soooo sugary but sooo good...lol)
Dinner- Veggie delite sub from subway (12 inches and ate it all) ok but it was only like 650 calories so i didnt do that bad
snack- skinny cow fudge pop

overall good food day i think...i was happy with it

well im off to get the kids ready for bed now

Size 16--Hurray for you! I had a similar thing happen today so I totally understand the nearly falling over thing..lol I tried on the one-piece bathing suit I bought and wore last in 2001. It is also a size 16, and I couldn't believe it fit b/c I weigh about 35 pounds more now than in 2001. And, I have size 18 pants that I can get into now, but they are tiigghht..lol

Anyway, congrats on the fabulous job you have been doing lately. And to quote Red Green, "Remember I'm pulling for ya, we're all in this together." lol

Sheryl, whats funny is my husband always tell me i have a big butt(but he says it in arabic) and meanwhile he is the one with the ghetto booty(he weighs like 180 but has some major junk in the trunk...lol So whats funny is he was at work ( we have our own auto sales and service business) and i kept calling like all day with no answer. So when he gets home im like ..why didnt you answer your phone???? He said...with a crabby mood,"I WAS WORKING, I DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO TALK!!!" So i told him he could just answer and say he's busy....then finally he admitted"These jeans are too tight and my phone wont fit in my pocket!!!" I laughed my ass of!!! So I always tell him he's got a ghetto booty!

Anyways....slept in late today with the kids....yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
I dont know if ill make it to the gym today, i have way too much shit around the house to get done. Maybe later I'll pack the kids in the stroller and take a walk.

Saturday is weigh in... getting nervous...but I can feel a difference so i dont care what the scale says!!

of to eat....brunch i guess...lol ( too late for breakfast)

Good luck with the household stuff today. And don't worry about the weigh in--you'll do fine Miss size 16. Besides, Sat is several days away yet.

hell it's like this... a 16 zippered whether skintight or not is STILL a 16! WOOT! :D Also, your husband's ghetto booty story had me laughing so hard at my computer. My husband, on the other hand, has a perky, little ass. Like... it fits perfectly in both of my hands... the little, skinny bastard. Then again, he married me so it's obvious he has a ghetto booty fetish. haaahaaa!

Don't stress on the weigh in, girl. Just remember, it's just a number and if you're getting your bum into a size 16 yet the scale doesn't move, you're probably toning up from all of that elliptical work... or the moving of heavy ass stoves. hahaaaa!!

So swam all day at my sisters. I figured thats a good workout. Having some knee trouble though today....not sure why but it hurts when i bend it. I might have to call the doctor if it keeps up. So eating-wise...

Dinner- veggies cooked w/steak...hard to explain
1 iraqi flatbread--(out of wheat pita's)

banana ( i think im addicted to them!!!)

2 weight watchers chocolates(1 point each)

and now i am going to bed so i stop eating....dammit i hate the days when you want to keep chewing all day

HOpe you got a better night's sleep tonight. I know how you feel about the days you just wanna keep eating. I couldn't even eat meal#6 yesterday or the day before. But today I want meal #7!!! But I'm not gonna eat it.

Hope your knee feels better. Swimming was great exercise. and great in this damn hot weather!
 
I love Wasa crisps!!! I could eat them with everything...peanut butter, chicken salad, cheese, french onion dip, chili, soup....the list goes on. But the fiber rye ones are so good for you, I do not feel guilty about them at all!

yah I was just telling Kimberly aka BikiniBound how great this forum is. I, too, am loving the support! And damn, can you imagine if we all lived near one another? One of us would end up getting arrested... I think it would be BB. LMAO jk

As for swimming, you can wade around in the water for an hour and you still burn more calories than walking. (Takes all your muscles to keep you afloat, which is awesome!) Besides, swimming always makes me hungry. Meal plan wise, you did really well, girl! Knowing you, you were probably swimming... then checking up on the babies... making sure to swim after wandering children... calling your husband to check on his ghetto booty... Damn Super Mom. hahaaa!

Im feeling much more rested today....but whats crazy is i havent slept more than 6 hours together in over 7 months!!!. Big change from the days i would sleep till like 12 or 1...before the kids!!
So today having still some knee pain. Decided to stay home and clean like crazy. My moms coming ot watch the kids so hopefully i wil get a whole lot done. We have a bedroom that is full of junk...so i need to empty it so it can be remodeled. fun fun fun
oh well ill check in later!!

Im feeling much more rested today....but whats crazy is i havent slept more than 6 hours together in over 7 months!!!. Big change from the days i would sleep till like 12 or 1...before the kids!!
So today having still some knee pain. Decided to stay home and clean like crazy. My moms coming ot watch the kids so hopefully i wil get a whole lot done. We have a bedroom that is full of junk...so i need to empty it so it can be remodeled. fun fun fun

I'm glad you're feeling much better today... getting enough rest is really essential... for your sanity most importantly ... and weight loss!

Make sure you work up a sweat while cleaning... you'll burn lotsa calories:)
