I have spent the last week and a half getting ready for this journey and as my week comes to a close i look ahead at my future and i cant wait,I have tried so many diets but the one that seems to work for me is weight watchers and working out along with a very very fast metabolism. i have what seems a very good weight loss plan set up that involves weighing myself everyday and setting very small goals for myself every week. i have noticed when i look down this path of weight loss and the thought of having to lose over 80 pounds seems almost impossible but losing 3 pounds does not, and although many people do not think of weighing yourself everyday is a good thing i do, i do not disappoint easily and i also understand that our body holds water so to gain a pound or two in one day is absolutely normal.

My current weight as of right now is 225.0 even and i am writing this on Sunday august 12th. i have set Four goals for this week and they are as follows
1.)Stick too it no matter how rough....Sometimes i have to debate with myself over if i really want something or not and i cannot do that anymore, what i will accomplish in the months/years to follow will be far greater than that 10 minutes of taste.
2.)Drink 8 glasses of water a day-I Have a very bad habit of not drinking water and drinking too much pop
3.)Reach a goal weight of 223.0 on Monday August 20th
4.)Learn to love the body that i am in-i may have cellulite, i may be overweight and my clothes might be a tad to tight but i have had the right and the privilege to eat,drink and celebrate-i come from a huge family who likes to get together and eat/party and for that i am thankful for and although i do not like my body i have been privileged to gain it but now i must treat my body like it was intended to be treated-as a temple

I hope to write here at least once a day about my weight loss journey and i hope this diary keeps me on track. I would like to finish this with a quote that may help and motivate some people

WElcome aboard your goals sound reasonable...I love your diary name and is your name inkedbaby - b/c you ahve tats - if so please spill - ha ha ha - I have 2 abt to get another one and I want a few more - lol...good luck on your journey

I love the title of your journal.

It looks like you have a very good plan to set out on your journey. I also have my overall goal and then mini-goals. Mini-goals certainly make it seem like much less of a chore to get to my overall goals:)

Do you have a nutritional plan set up already?

Hello Everyone im ready to head off to the gym , although i go a few times a month its not for working out its to swim for leisure so time to start using that very expensive membership :cool:

cinderelly-Yes i Have 5 tattoos as listed
1.)Sanskrit on my left forearm which stands for God
2.)An Art Piece on my back called Flowers in the Attic which is of a girl (wow this is going to sound really morbid but i assure you its not)Of a Girl Committing Suicide but the blood turns to butterflies and the butterflies transform into really big ones on my back once again i assure you its not as morbid as it sounds lol
3.)Two stars on my collarbone just outlined stars
4.)a Nautical star on my upper right arm with a tribal design the star is pretty blue and black shades
5.) Music Notes on my right Wrist

Boam46- Thank you and my Nutritional plan isint very binding as i have done weight watchers before and thats how i lost this first 18 pounds, for breakfast i usually eat some sort of fruit like Banana(1) or strawberry's(1) and maybe a bowl of trix cereal with 2% milk(5)-you could cut that number too (3) if i used skim....Lunch i like lean cuisines(5) and smart ones(5-6),sometimes ill just have a sandwich with ham or turkey a slice of cheddar cheese with mustard(7) and a bag of Cheeto's(3) they are my downfall,i like soup so sometimes ill have a bowl of cheddar broccoli soup(2) or chicken noodle (1)and dinner we have all sorts of things but we mainly like grilled boneless/skinless chicken breasts(3) with a side of rice(5) or chicken noodles(4) and a serving of veggies(1), i also have a few snacks throughout the day which include granola bars/fruit snacks and rice crispie treats( all 2) because there sooo good lol but mind you there are sooo many different combinations i have but most of the time im not picky and that seems to be my daily meals
so as you can see i really eat what i what but im on weight watchers which allows me 26 points a day and i put the points in parenthesis's above so you can see i really don't get hungry much and for me i drop about 4-5 pounds a week along with drinking my 64 ounces of water a day and working out about 3-4 times a week.

Depressed

so i started my diet on august13th and i had some issues with my DSl so i havent been on in about a week and a half and i have demolished my diet..i did really well the first week losing about 4 pounds but this week i just let it go..im trying so hard and i want this so badly..i need some encouragment..somtimes it seems like i have so far to go:confused:
 
I like the name of your diary too, it reminds me of The Secret, which I watched today. Sanskrit is cool.

Anyway, just take it one pound at a time. We all do it that way.

Welcome to your diary. Keep posting. You sound like you have joy in your life. Stay connected to that.

Were very close weight wise, and i know it seems hard and long and almost a dream away. But we'll get there. I had a rough day yesterday, went to a party. I allowed myself one lite beer, and one slice of pizza. Then munched on carrots and drank water :) Then this morning i had bacon, eggs and a biscuit. Not very good, but when i got home i dragged the boyfriend hiking :)

Im learning EVERYONE has bad days and days where they let themselves go a little, but as long as u get right back on track it wont affects your weeks weight loss :)

How much are you aiming to lose a week? I was thinking 4lbs for me, but ill prob aim for 3... seems more reachable :)
