Regaining my life - Jeremy's Diary

Sup holmes?

Fireman, huh. That's an exciting job. I swear, if I had it my way, I'd have a different job every day of the week, lol. I want to try everything.

But firefighting and doing computer stuff on the side sounds like a nice change.

Good luck with it!

And looking good man...

thanks man

its kinda combining the best of both worlds.. the crazy dangerous with firefighting and the relaxing lazy with web design.. lol

firefighting has been in my family's blood for generations... and i grew up around the station on firetrucks and such.. so its almost destiny

well training for this has been intense.. a ton of running and stairs.. and the cross fit is pretty decent.. nice and taxing.. love it!!

were rounding 1 year soon..

nevermind it has been a year.. LMAO

wow.. this has gone by FAST!!! and so much has happened...

i want to thank all who have been motivation and inspiration to me over the past year..

And i can't wait to show you all what i will be like in another year!!

That's a lot of work crammed into a short amount of time.

Paid off too...

yea.. a lot of ppl didnt expect me to stick with it.. and i lol at much of the comments from b4 about how my diet was unstable or workouts were too much.. lol

i know im stubborn and expect nothing but greatness from myself!!

i gotta make some new goals!!

I don't remember your workouts per se. I remember they weren't set up how I'd have them set up, personally.

But that's another point that doesn't much matter at this point. What matters is whatever you've been doing has worked for you and allowed you to be consistent with your efforts which is, without a doubt, the most powerful factor.

And as far as workouts being 'too much,' that's a VERY individual thing. They might be too much for most. But most is not all.

That's a good attitude.

i wish my roomate would have kept a journal on here too.. but he started the same time as i did and he was 275 and hes now down to 194 with the same diet and workout plan as me..

so it definetly works and it wasnt just me.. but its just not for the weak hearted u know.

weightloss with a buddy is always a plus. accountability and backup will help all persevere

The thing is this......

A caloric deficit coupled with hard, consistent work will always work. The different outcomes associated with the different approaches are microscopic once the deficit and hard, consistent work are in place.

very true..

i understand it completely.. but if only all those others wishing for a quick fix would get it. lol

Wow man, you are a true inspiration. I saw your before and after pics and that is what motivated me to register on this forum. I am having trouble figuring out exactly what you are doing in this diet. You mind hooking me up with a list of exactly how you run this diet? I am hoping to look like you :D
Thanks a lot!

thanks a lot!

eat 6 meals a day.. stick with grilled chicken and 99% fat free turkey meat. whole wheat pasta and whole wheat breads. eat a lot of veggies and some fruits for snacks.. 100 cal packs are ok just watch the ones with sugar and the high sodium. besically eat what u will enjoy but make it healthy. if u cant stomach the food ur eating u wont stick with it..

Hey bud, wow what an inspiration.

Great read, Good luck.
