Congratulations RedX...getting so close to one of the big 100 milestones is a big deal!! I know you will bust through the big 299 mark in no time... Congratulations and keep up the good work!
Been posting this on all my other sites so ill post here....Im gonna be a dad!! Wife and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 years but had many problems because of her issues (pcos) and other things. But after 5 years we finally are there. She is 14 weeks pregnant and due Feb 16!!
Hey Red, keep up the good work. I've had a lot of hovering this summer (who's fault? Oh yeah, mine), but I'm targeting Sept 7th to drop into the 200s.
Congrats on being a Dad, too - My daughter is a main motivator. The faster she gets, the more I want to be able to keeep up with her. And believe me, she's getting fast!

Been busting ass lately because i wanna hit the below 300 mark. Today I did 45 mins hard at the gym. Did a 6.0 run for the first time. Did it for min and half then for a minute (2 times). Nice to see myself improving in my cardio. Then on elliptical i changed it up today. Was bumping up the incline every 2 mins. So first 2 mins at 2 incline, then 4, 6, 8, and 10. Then i would reset the incline and repeat. Did this for 25 mins and kept my heartrate up the whole time.
I been wearing my smaller shirts lately that I wouldn't wear in public cuz they were too tight. I ordered new work uniforms today because they were too big. Went from 5xl to 3xl in shirts and 46 to 42 in pants.
Wow, you go RedX, and congratulations on moving down in the shirt sizes and work uniforms...I know you'll be happy to break the 300 mark, and that will come......but you see right now those clothes sizes coming right on down! That's the big positive feedback you need !!
Another great feeling today. Went to cut up an old shirt to use for something but figured i would try it on first. The shirt I havent wore because after I washed it, it shrank and was too tight. Now it fits great!! So many shirts that i had were bought because they fit and i couldnt buy shirts I liked because they werent in my size. I cant wait till I can choose from anything at the store that I like and not just worry if it will fit.
AWoo hoo lost two pounds this week...the scale is literally at 300.0. Lost total of 39 pounds. So one more pound and I'll be in the 200's and 40 pounds lost. And this is in only 4 months. So if you work hard..it pays off. And I do work hard..go to gym 6 days a week for at least 45 mins.
I see now these 10 min a day workouts that people get scammed into off tv. There isn't no good results without hard work and dedication. You have to eat right and exercise at least 4 days a week for 30 mins plus if to you want to be serious about it
AGreat job! I haven't read your diary for a while so brilliant to read that you are doing so well. And congratulations on the baby news - a real motivator to get fit and healthy to be the best dad possible!
Just a quick update. Last week wasnt good for me, gained a pound I weight myself tomorrow so hope I am back to 300 or below!!!
Here is a before and after with my work shirts. Before was a 5xl and now a 3xl. The before was way to baggy and sleeves went to my elbow. Now looks great! Also pants went from 46 to 42, they were super baggy also and now fit good.
Weighted myself Saturday and it says 300, so back to what I was at. Today I weighted myself and it said 301. I hate weight fluctuations! Needed to go to the gym today but have had a crappy headache all day.
And one good update, went to doc a few days ago and found out my baby is a GIRL!! So excited to finally know, we have already bought her some outfits! lol
Wearing my new work shirt today made me feel good about the progress Ive made so far. 39 pounds in 4 months is great and I love the feeling. I am so eager to break the 300 pound mark and be in the 200's. I want to get there so bad.
Today at the gym I switched up my exercises. On the treadmill i was doing 5 minutes at 3.5 speed with a 7.5 incline. Then do a 6.0 run at 1.5 incline. Then repeat for total of 20 mins. Then on the elliptical I was doing a 5 min at 10 incline with a 2 resistance. Then a 2 incline with 7 resistance for 5 mins. I then repeat for 20 mins.
FINALLY i am under 300!! Lost 2 pounds this week and now at 298!!! So glad to see the 200's on the scale now!! Now a total of 41 pounds lost in 16 weeks! And it took alot of hard work!
