well, im about to sign up for the university's annual "beat michigan" blood drive. giving blood usually leaves me a bit weak in the gym for a couple of weeks...how do i recover as fast as possible from giving blood?
another question: when i was running track in high school, i made the mistake of giving blood in season my senior year. i was a half miler and for about 6 weeks, my times suffered tremendously. however, im only affected for a week or 2 in the gym, and not all that significantly. what's with the disparity? does giving blood hurt you more aerobically than anerobically?
