I too hope it´s nothing.

Yeah, not much of a breakfast person so I made a quick pea soup with gnocchi and egg.
Never tried pea soup. I love peas but soup just looks ummm.......i guess it just brings back memories of the movie exorcist......

:D An unexpected extra reason not to watch horror movies: they may put you off great food. My mom's pea soup takes a day to make and involves buckets of veg, dried peas and stuff like bone marrow. Or really just chunks of bone with some meat left on them that would have been too much work for the butcher to remove. But after using it in the soup they're lovely hollow tubes. I fry an onion and some garlic, add frozen green peas and a corner of a stock cube, let it heat through and blitz it up before adding whatever carbs and protein I have on hand (smoked salmon is awesome with it). Tastes completely different, which is good because I can't stand the original. At all. Sorry Mom...

Ill have to give it a try

Probably a stupid question but: you do use insulin when you have carb fests, don't you?
Nope lol. I was only borderline and since i lost all the weight my blood sugar is completely normal now. Today wasn't really that bad. I ended up with about 64ish net carbs. The hamburger bun was most of it. The low carb flat wraps have about 7 and the paneer dish is about 6. Maybe spinach has tons of fiber so not really sure. It was the first time I've had white bread in 7 months and it wasnt all that. It was good eating a regular ole cheese burger but i found as far as the bread goes it wasnt as good as it seemed to be in the past. While i was eating it tasted great. Afterwards i had this starchy kinda aftertaste. So not a habit im going to fall back in to.

You got dediabetesed and didn't tell us?! Or maybe you did and I missed it but that's awesome! I don't like burger buns, find them sickly, but (whole grain) pita pockets are a delicious substitute.

Really not sure if i said anything or not. The hamburger buns were there and i hadn't had real bread in a long time. If i had planned the meal i would have bought some whole wheat buns. It was just more of an impulse thing.

:D I would not consider burger buns real bread either :p Just typed "burger Nuns". Those probably wouldn't be bread either but they might well produce some amazing food.
